Some players use devices called “joysticks” which often have 6 or more buttons. These buttons are similar in function to those you might find on a control pad, but larger- so large, in fact, that a person might comfortably use two(!) fingers to tap one of them- alternating presses between the index and middle finger.
This technique can be quite useful in HDR, particularly in certain matchups. For instance, a Cammy player might use it in a fight against a Honda player (traditionally, a tough matchup for Cammy) in order to bait the Honda player into accusing the Cammy player of using turbo buttons, or against a Blanka or Bison player in order to coax abusive messages from them.
