You tell the other guy to mute you if he doesn’t like the fact that you talk shit but you send messages to this guy to turn off his mic? Why didn’t you just mute him? Kind of a double standard here.
this is so simple and stupid and NOT a double standard. the SOUND has nothing to do with it, and the blinking icon has everything to do with it. when you mute someone, the icon still appears with a ghostbusters type “no” sign over the icon. was it sooo frigging wrong of me to ask the guy to turn his mic off if he wasnt talking? he didnt turn it off, and thats just fine. of all the petty bullshit i deal with on these boards, this issue is probably the most ridiculous one…i can’t even believe im discussing it like a month or so after it went down…
My solution is I never plug my mic in. One time I was in a room full of SRK’ers, and I heard them saying “what’s up?” and shit through my speakers. I STILL didn’t plug it in (retarded of me, yes, but I need to maintain focus when I play). I really only get mad when I lose because of horrible d-pad inputs, but even then I just curse to myself (or smash the controller). I’ve learned to never take my anger out on my opponent, and I find that the best way to beat assholes is to win and keep quiet. And do it with Cammy, that way they know they got beaten by an inferior character LOL.
Come on, muting them will stop the icon from flashing. Does the icon with the red bar through it bother you too? Lol.

I played you one more time & then i said i need to get some sleep. I sent pm gg & then you seem frustrated by replying "good my ass, what am i doing, that you guys aren’t doing or something like that. Then you sent another pm saying glad your mic was off. I then sent you some advice on what you were doing wrong…Not sure if you were offended by it or not…but whatever

CzarRU is a good gief player. i wouldnt say he beats me all the time, but most of the time. he’s also the king of the hit and run…comes into a room im in…beats me one time, then leaves. one time he accuses me of using turbo, and i post about it somewhere in this thread.
he comes into a room im in today and does the hit and run and sends me a message “thats for talking shit about me on the board”. we go back and forth for a bit cause i couldnt remember who he was at first, then he reminds me when he says, “i see you’ve given up using turbo”. anyway…
i have all kinds of enemies it seems on XBL. so be it…i dont have to like my opponents and they certainly dont have to like me. in fact…it makes my wins against them that much sweeter…
