Yay got peach back Now for Ganondorf. I agree he is a clone character but they should leave these moves alone
down B…fast move, hits hardand OTG, caneve kill with enough damage
Tilt up A, his charge kick that literally take 3 seconds to change and cause a massive explosion. instant kill 90% of the time
in the air down a…his meteor smash. that move is good. can OTG kill and I hope it keeps the electricity properties
Jesus Christ Nintendo, announce a new fucking character! Young Toon Link isn’t hype, get some Shulk up in that shit and give me something to get hype about.
Quick question here. (And I don’t have the time to look through 29 pages to see if it’s been asked lol) Since it’s been so prominently featured in the new games and a movie in Japan, D’ya think Mewtwo will make a comeback in some appearance? Mega Evolution or otherwise?
Hopefully they change up his moveset a bit more though. He has 3 identical specials to Link again (bow, spin attack, and bombs)…but again they haven’t shown the side-b. Perhaps that’s going to be the main difference between the two now? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
lol Nintendo STILL putting Link and Toon Link in. JUST HAVE LINK TURN INTO TOON LINK AND STOP WASTING OUR FUCKING TIME. This is coming from someone who loves trolling with Toon Link.
I’m ok with Toon Link returning so long as they continue to make changes between him and Link. Toon Link looks pretty god damn good in this game too. That texture on his tunic is more detailed than regular Link’s.
On one hand its a clone, although even just from the pictures, I know that there will be more differences in their move sets and priorities he is still a clone. On the other hand Toon Link is both fun and badass, frankly I would have been cool with him in the game regardless of if just as trophy assist or even replacing regular Link.
But yeah, his inclusion means long running clones like Falco and Gannondorf are locks, probably will get another Fire Emblem character opposite Marth as well, just have to wonder if it will be one from Awakening or another game.
Ken and Ryu weren’t that different in the beginning but with each iteration or revision more changes were made to them. The difference here being that Nintendo doesn’t (or as of yet has done) any revision rereleases of the smash series so it seems the process of changes the clones to be different will probably take longer.
Edit:
We got 2 characters in one month…awesome. It’s no doubt that Toon Link was announced along side Wind Waker so looking at Nintendo’s releases for next week…We have Pokemon X and Y and Sonic Lost World. November has Mario 3D world, LoZ: ALBW and then DK: Tropical Freeze in Dec. Jigglypuff hasn’t been announced yet so that’s a possibility, Sonic is a possibility but I’m gonna say they won’t announce him around the time Lost World is out…they’ll probably opt for whenever they announce the 3rd sonic game, I’m not sure if Ganondorf would make sense for ALBW but the Master Sword is involved in that game so it’s a possibility, and then there’s probably a good chance for Diddy to be announced in Dec.
If we’re going by this in a hypothetical manner then we may not see a possible announcement of Shulk until around the time X gets released.
Pokemon X and Y possibilities:
Pokemon Trainer with three new starters and the evolutions
mewtwo with megamewtwo as final smash
completly new pokemon
jigglypuff
(I honestly dont see lucario returning)
Sonic Lost World:
Sonic
Shadow (extra jizz if true)
LOL @ the Toon Lonk hate, Sakurai said himself no clones so that obviously means Toon Link and Adult Link will play a lot more differently than they did in the past. I don’t care if Toon Link is low tier this time, he’s always going to be my main because he’s as close to sagat as Smash has, plus his play style of trapping opponents between projectiles to set them up to be hit by the tip of his sword is really rewarding and suits me.
Although I do admit it was really badass they made Toon link a faster, and stronger version of Adult Link in Brawl, he completely outclassed Adult Link in every way except for how squishy he is. I remember being shocked that such a small squishy character had the most dangerous knock out potential in Brawl
