idk, DDD is like the least hypest reveal, you could reveal a new type of shell (blue homing) and we could talk about that for a week until the next reveal but it makes sense I guess

Itās not DDD hate, the roster just isnāt doing anything for me.
So far the only thing thatās concurrent right now about the roster is that I still have a pocket Marth on standby, A peach that will be exchanged for marth in emergency, and A hedgehog for when I just want to shit on people for the laughs.
WFT and Villager will definitely be things I try, same for megaman. but these reveals so far are of people i donāt care for. Why was marth and zelda shown before the original 64 crew were all released?

Itās like that food platter were its all of your favorite things and theres just a whole section of stuff you just donāt fuck with. either because itās of poor taste or because that 5 star restaraunt item was so good that the mighty wings you are offered right after that just arenāt appetizing.
ztheyāve wowed me with megaman and sonic early on, but with all this mixed information about a release time set for this year was it, compounded with the back to back un interesting dishes donāt really do keep me interested.

The problem with this reveal is that if you were excited by it then it means you were stupid enough to think that Zelda and D3 werenāt going to be in the game.
Real talkā¦they shouldāve just outright stated all the returning characters because there isnāt a single one that people would be legitimately hype for returning.
The only reveals people will end up caring about are new characters since these reveals never come with gameplay anyway. Hell, the new characters are also the only ones that get video.
Or you really liked using those characters.

Also, until they confirm Sheik, thereās still some mystery to Zelda.

I was secretly hoping Sheik WOULDNāT return even back before Brawl was released.
Not because I donāt like Sheik (she was one of my mains in Melee), but because Iād love to see something new for the princess of Hyrule.

Sakurai wanted D3 in Smash 64. Now the fuckerās in heās not coming out, especially since they want to reuse his old character data. The characters that got cut in melee were all shitty clones (except Mewtwo, who got revamped as Lucario) so you have no reason to believe that D3 and Zelda are going to go to waste for no reason.
Revamped is a poor choice of words since Lucario is inferior to Mewtwo in every way.
