I did always find it weird how nobody brings up the luck factor in card games, especially considering how big the prize pools for some of them can be. Not saying they don’t deserve to be as big as they are or that they’re critically flawed or whatever, I just always thought that was weird.

I think that’s the stage/boss hazard in the Plains stage(which is another point for the leak). You could see Shulk pulling a similar pose when they were showing off his game and there was that giant mech thing casting a shadow in a similar way

So Shulk’s got his Backslash(Guessing B so Kirby can copy it), his Monado Stat change(Side B?Though I guess Kirby could copy the stat boosting, I dunno), Up B thing that really looks like Dolphin blow, and Down B Counter.

I may or may not have tried looking up your profile earlier when Gespenst was talking earlier, thinking you changed you name.
I’m not saying he might not be fun. I’m saying he really doesn’t DO much. All the special parts of his moves stem from buffs really. He doesn’t breathe fire, shoot missiles, chuck bombs, ground pound, spawn motorcycles, throw bananas, become a tornado, fire lightning lasers, plant hydrants, eat people(with and without tongue), teleport, fire grenades, lunge punch, spin dash, grow trees, hula hoop, call down thunder, toss metal blades, pluck pikmin, float in midair, use water weapons, or is Palutena
Marth at least had a fancy dancing blade to go with his other sword techniques. Shulk just seems kinda boring is all.

Also, side note, I’m sure that it’s meant to be a reference to something from within Xenoblade: Chronicles, but anyone else find it funny that the title of Shulk’s trailer is “Looks like we don’t have a choice?”
Having not played Xenoblades that much due to dislike of the game(so can’t confirm or deny), I must say it’d be hilarious if this was just Sakurai’s thoughts when designing the character
