Nah man Sakurai was watching the season finale of Heroes and when Hiro did something (spoiler free post) heroic in the episode Sakurai got out of his chair and yelled “YA TA!”

yeah exactly, in what other light could they be possibly composing music for? character themed stages, that’s what. -> leads to -> the characters themselves playable.

I almost feel as if I wasted my time just opening the page. There was some good information though, just not 5 new characters and Sonic.
I highly doubt that the composers will be indicative of what 3rd party characters will show up in the game. Hell, most of them are freelance. However, it does look like Sakurai might hint toward this, as he opens the post up with “This is dangerous. It’s a little risky.”
Also, something that has gone under all of our radars:

freakin god, i can’t go to sleep anymore. The composer list just hinted at those characters from thier respective games BEING IN SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL. AAAAAAAHHHH… Dante demon-forming shit up, Chrono Trigger’s Crono vs Pit, Kngdom Heart’s Heartless making an appearance, and possibly… well most likely now… Sonic vs Mario. The ultimate in fanboy fantasies. That would make this game 10 out of 10 across all the reviews.
