I dunno I’m pretty pleased with the moves. I wonder if the Carboard Box Bitchslap is possible? I’m glad we got some new tunes from MGS4 (remixed trailer music) but I hope there will still be some classic tracks from the earlier games.

Missle functions the same as PK Thunder, grenade is much like Link’s bomb and only time will tell what sort of collision properties his Up+B has. I don’t think you can call shitty moves just yet man.
Dang, no M9. If it were in there, it could probably put the opponents to sleep. I’m pleased with this update especially with the music one.
mines seems like it’s either downsmash or forward smash, and the mortar launcher is definitely up smash (they say his smashes are also weapons right before it). upsmash looks like it’s going straight up, which is probably never going to hit even after a grab because (assuming they keep that in), you can just DI out of the way.
nikita missile is only going to be good for edgeguard i guess. i can’t see being used for pressure. time release on the nade doesn’t sound that great, plus charging the b button (for how long?) to get a stronger throw sounds really bad compared to just c-sticking it or even just forward+a. not being able to throw the grenade straight up also sucks. cypher sounds good for sweet spotting but that’s it. if there’s any kind of lag going down it’s probably not gonna be that great. seems like it comes down kinda slow too.
of course this is all theoretical and it’s just my opinion. for all i know i can be dead wrong and snake ends up god tier but like i said, so far, he seems pretty bad on paper imho.
I wonder how Nikita missile will work if he’s in midair though. Will you really have enough time to control the missile freely while you’re in the air? And Nikita missile could be a good edgeguard so long as it knocks the opponent away rather than up like Link’s bombs (from Melee). Hopefully his grenades aren’t like that.

Damn! I don’t have the energy to start a second riot. Everytime you get best week ever with SmashBros. com, Sakurai always comes with new flame. Wi-Fi Riot + Snake with Ike in a choke hold = Best Update Week Ever. This being best week ever until Sakurai announces some straight killer shit 5 days in a fucking row. And Snake with the hand grenade. LOL! I swear he tryin to C-Walk or something. No character Vet or Newbie has been shown this much love in one update. But I guess when your Snake you get hood points and shit. And what in the hell does this mean, "The legendary mercenary makes his miraculous Smash debut! This law-breaking news roared around the world." Which world? Because if its the Smash world, then this may be some clue about the Subspace Emissary. But if its about the world we exist in, then maybe I can get behind that. And it doesn’t sound as weird. And I wonder why he didn’t get a New Challenger banner? I wonder can you shoot down Cypher while Snake is floating back to safety? I could see that one right now very clearly. Snake just floating by and then Power Suit Samus just sticks a rocket square on the Cypher. And Snake just falls to his demise. Now that’s just nasty. But overall great update. And the music was cool too. Can’t wait till MGS4 comes out. That will be the crack when that drops too. Now if they would have threw 1 of his stages in the update, that would have created a bar they maybe never could top.

At least you probably don’t have to hear one of your best friends go on and on about those damn grenades (seriously, I argued with him so many times before that Snake probably wasn’t gonna have them. Now he’s going to hold this over my head until the game comes out.)
