Edit:…WOOOOOOWW…jesus christ sakurai all this…for just the fuckin sandbag!? I didn’t expect to be impressed when i saw exactly what the update was…but reading it i’m blown away.
This update really goes to show how much work Sakurai is putting into Brawl. Not just a simple “update” sequel, ala MOST developers, but he’s making sure this game is a whole new bag, and what is carried over, will be so much more fun.

notes: Lucas does a a new move in the air that Ness doesnt do. so it appears more and more Lucas isnt just a carbon copy of Ness. There’s still hope for Ness. 
well…ok I take back what I just said earlier. I am a bit shocked…HRC is back…and wow it’s only gotten more insane! WiFi is sweet to know but on top of that…tag team HRC? think of the possible combos! AND on top of that, a shield makes sure the sandbag don’t escapes too early. heh…expect some sick future HRC vids

I think it speaks for itself for anyone who played competitive Melee. Fairly convincing in my opinion. Wavelanding looks like it made a return. Full confirmation should come later this week.
Maybe it was a new ukemi animation?

Yeah it just looks like Luigi doing a directional influenced Bair away from Meta Knight.
Same thing with the Wario one which looked like a charge tackle and not a waveland.
2 Player Homerun Competitions should look incredible on Youtube. Some people might dedicate there time honing their Homerun skills instead of the actual game.
Look man I think this might be th best game of all time. This exictement im getting from the dojo is crazy. Everyday i wake up and damn something new. Homerun contest online what this is crazy.
That can’t possibly be a waveland, because mario does an air dodge over the tornado before he lands.
What that is, is a CPU Mario that air-dodges over metaknight, lands, and rolls backwards instantly upon landing. There’s no shield bubble before the roll because it’s a CPU.

Who is going to be the sandbag rape artist? Last time Yoshi, Fox, and the Ice Climbers put up major numbers in the Home Run Contest in Melee. But with the addition of a shield anybody has a chance to do some damage. So in that case I’m going Meta Knight, Yoshi, Sonic, Fox, Zamus. A top 5 not in order though. The hype grows.

I kinda wish you could beat up Piantas instead of Sandbag (people who went through Sunshine should know why), but all this effort for HR Contest is cool.

wow, im loving the new additions to the home run contest, thats so awesome. This game seriously has too much to do.
Now im wondering though, in 64 we had Polygons, in melee there were wireframes and their challenges, and now we have Brawl and im calling it now…
