and what’s this “… and you are?” bullshit? Why do people do this as though it’s the ultimate burn: “guys I don’t even have time to read the names of people that’s how fucking edgy I am”, it holds even less weight if you joined in 2007.
“But seriously, I mean, it doesn’t make sense. Please explain to me why you keep doing it if you don’t mind.”
OKay I’ll tell you why, because I like the SB franchise and I want the best possible thing for it. As a fan, I think im entittled to a opinion and allowed to express some constructive criticism. As it stand right now, Im not pleased with the way things are looking. A number of sources have reported the game is slow and missing a great deal of the gameplay techniques featured in melee. I was hoping the game would progress and expand on the concepts we saw in melee, but so far it seems as if the game is more familiar with SM64 then melee.
I didnt exaclty want a rehash, but couldnt Sak just use melee as a foundation to build upon.
Yeah the game does seem a tad bit slower, so you got a point there. But the only things being removed are glitches not techniques, and you forget to mention the new techniques being added into the game.
Remember that when they initially started revealing things that the release date was next month, now that it’s been pushed back they have to add additional weeks of updates that they didn’t initially plan on having to do. So we get a lot more filler updates.
Remember the date for release went from 12-3 to 2-10. So now Sakurai has to fill all the extra days with nonsensical bullshit so there are 5 updates in a week. But even if the game was still dropping on 12-3, he’d be squeezing all the random shit that are getting updates by their lonesome into the 2, 3, or 4 updates we used to see. So expect a lot more of these weeks. I was thinking something major would have been seen by now anyway. But no new characters since Dedede and no Subspace Vids since “The Rumble in the Kongo Jungle” Fox vs. Rayquaza. So something major will happen…sooner or later. November 28th and December 3rd something major will be dropped though. Bet it.
I wish they created nega-Handicap where your weak opponent can get -100% at the start of the match to give them a fighting chance. See I could’ve been on your team Sakurai, making brilliant innovations!:annoy:
I’m actually pleased with the updates so far. You should be happy that you’re getting new information on a daily basis which is much more you can say about any other upcoming game. If they gave a new character update every week until the game is released then there would be little to no hidden characters in the game we wouldn’t know about which would be a bit lame.
Some of the recent updates have been about things most players don’t care about or probably wouldn’t have even thought about. But the fact that they’ve gone out of their way to upgrade even the smallest thing like the taunt and handicap systems just shows how hard they’re working and their attention to detail.
