Actually, that select screen (the real ones being posted today) is pretty dead on in the order of the 35-character roster that got ‘leaked’. Looking more and more like 35 (plus 2 pt zamus shiek) is all we get.

Why do we have to have yet another fucking sword-weilder? I understand the marketing angle (hence why Roy is toast), but swords are such boring weapons.

Doubly sucks that the only new people to not use swords are the two people are likely won’t use (Dedede and Zamus).
Oh well, at least Ness is back. I wonder how much they changed him, though.

Man the minute I heard about the original FE being a ‘Masterpiece’ I thought, that nigga Marth has to be in the game, cause a FE demo of that FE game makes no sense.
No telling how many secret characters are in this game, I suspect that thre is probably 3 new secret ones we haven’t heard about including Lucario.
Man the character select screen is gonna have to shrink. There’s just not enough room there.

This is fun. It’s like all the excitement of going to the dojo everyday but all at once and 100 percent more satisfying because it’s instant gratification.

Yeah, like that’s going to happen.
Anyway, since I don’t want to have pretty much everything spoiled for me (including all of the character cast) and I doubt that everyone will give sufficient warning (all it takes is one asshole) and I find highly likely that some Melee discussion will come up at least five times in the next month that we still have to wait (sigh), I think I’ll just start my self-imposed hiatus from the Internet tonight (after checking Dojo, though I too doubt it will have anything new).
It’s been relatively fun, but mostly because of Quiche and VS.
I guess I’ll see you when the new thread is either made for the U.S. version of the game or the Wii Friend Code thing comes up. (And, no, white shadow, I still haven’t finished Diamond.)
