I’d rather it have been Megaman, but this IS actually the next best thing for me (from a purely malicious standpoint, considering I never got to play Pikmin): A character whose ENTIRE GAMEPLAY IS BASED AROUND ITEMS.

Olimar. Finally you get the shine you deserve. A little Pokemon Trainer and little Ice Climbers. He seems interesing for a character. Just wanna know what dem Pikmin do. Cause he picked up the yellow one and tried to smack Mario with it. Maybe the Pikmin work like Faux items. Yellow is a beam sword. Purple is a barrel or heavy object. Red is a fire flower or laser pistol. White is a poisonous mushroom. And Blue is like summoning Blastoise and does some form of Hydro Pump. Final Smash is the Pikmin turn into Bulbmin and do work. Or it could be an endless spamming of Pikmin with the use of a Queen Candypop Bud. His alternate costume will either be Louie or the President of Hocotate. Probably Louie before the President, but Louie should get that alternate costume spot. But Pikmin is crack on a GameCube disk and I’m glad Olimar gets a chance to represent. And if you haven’t play Pikmin, you owe it to yourself to do so. I got into it just to get his Trophy in Melee and it’s been trouble since then.
Olimar got a bigger reaction from me than Sonic did. This game is too epic.
