New to the serious side of SSFIV- Any advice is appreciated

Find a character you like, practice practice practice. Also, I have a strategy, think you are a lot worse than you really are. You won’t notice your increase in skill for a while. But when you do, you’ll realize you are a lot better than you give yourself credit, it seems like drastic improvement, which most people are looking for.
Hi Guys. My problem is that I’ve played a lot, and I still suck quite bad apparently (hovering around 800 to 1000PP). I only played Blanka in vanilla, and mostly Cody in Super. I need to play someone good, on a mic, so they can verbalize what the hell I’ve been doing wrong. If you’re good, and can assess what others are doing wrong, and willing to beat the crap out of me 20 times I would really appreciate it.

I’am working on Guile trying to learn his matchups like abel, rufus, balrog, and shotos hit me up so we can have a FT5 or FT10.

I’m back
Finally got out of my video game rut so now I am breaking the stick out and trying to get better with it. I appreciate any pointers as to how to pull off moves easier on it. I seem to be having trouble with ultras and certain timing moves. On a pad or controller I am above average but on this fightstick I am “average”. I was just wondering if you guys who have been using fightsticks for years have any tips.
Also, if you wish to play (don’t online much) My gamertag is my site name, Animedudecat. Any help would be appreciated.
On a side note, even if I constantly lose I am not the type to get mad. I never rage quit and I like to use everyone (I need to find a character to stick with but I haven’t found “the one” yet.
