Trying to level up for a tourney that’s coming up soon. I don’t get to hit up the good players in my area as much as i would want because i work shift work and they all work 9 to 5. So please add me to XBL and kick my ass repeatedly until i learn how to block and not be a scrub.

Mid-range player tired of ransoms online
I apologize if this is spamming because I am sure there are tons of these threads but I just want to find some regular players to skill up with. Ranked is ass. I never seem to gain anything from it and it gets pretty frustrating. SF has always been more fun with regular rivals anyways. I generally play at night and a lot on Fridays and Saturdays. I am on xbox live under Shatov R so feel free to send a friend invite, game invite or whatever.

I was in your exact situation about 1 year ago, personally I still think I suck at Street Fighter, but the enjoyment I first got out of it kept me playing, in response to your UK Fightpad problem. Take a look in HMV (or HMV’s website) the HMV closest to me has some 360 fightpads on offer 2 for £30 or 1 for £20 which I very cheap. I just today got myself a Hori EX2 fightstick (last one in Gamestation phew) 'cause i’ve been playing with my pad for so long I thought I would switch to a stick

If your not mega serious and dont wanna drop some loot just go get the fightpad its well worth it. I’ve had mine for a bit and havent had any problems and its much easier on my hands then the standard 360 controller. There is also a Hori variant available that I heard was good too.

This is my very first Street Fighter game, I’ve never played any other fighting game apart from Garou: Mark of the Wolves on the dreamcast which I still play. Anyways I played this round my friends house and really enjoyed it and went out and bought a xbox 360, a arcade stick and this game today just for this game.
I was looking for maybe some people who are willing to help me with my playing, possible in endless battle and maybe give me some feedback on msn (I don’t have a mic, as it’s a second hand xbox) while we play, I used to do this with Garou and it helped alot.
Please let me know If you’re interested.

I have read the forum on here for beginners and have put some of those mechanics into practice, and already working on BnB combo’s and execution but hands on practice and feedback is always better than a training dummy.

Busta, I’ll play ya, but won’t be able to have MSN on at the same time, and I can’t really type too well over Live with the Joystick. If you get a mic though I can point out a few basics, and I’m looking myself to take it easy in Endless Battle, and train up with a few of the ‘new’ characters in it like Cody and Adon.
I play MOTW (Hotaru and Griffon/Tizoc mostly) on GGPO as well if you fancy that some time, and have you seen Virtua Fighter 5 on 360 yet? It looks stunning and should be available very cheap in somewhere like GAME pre-owned, and you can still find people playing it online who are very helpful in explaining the gameplay.
