Super Jumping out of Hyper Sent Force after blocking the first set of drones

wow… that was a really old post of mine, and just wow… sentinel has no infinites… too bad we didn’t know about the unfly shit and the standing sentinel shit back then… or i’d have looked cool

i never heard that you go neutral

one tip that i didn’t see…

DO NOT super jump back, because you’ll just stand there and block. make sure your motions are like this (there IS a neutral in here)

second wave hits, you block, down, up, neutral, back.

this way, in case you don’t make it out, you’ll still block and not get creamed.

u can get out of it without the HSF doing chip damage. most ppl will do a mouthbeam, rp xx HSF. u can pushblock the first mouthbeam then just before the drones are about to hit u super jump out!!

#2 doesnt work. u have to pushblock a hit before the HSF

u pushblock when middle drone of the first set of drones is at midscree, then u sj xx ahvb … ive done it :woot: so i should know!!

u can super jump back! i super jump back all the time when i GC outta Sent’s HSF

if there’s something on the screen and you go down, up/back, yo’ull block it. if you go down, up, back, then you’ll jump. Look at Suki Cancelling. You cancel the attack with a block, by super jumping backwards.

ive done it jumping up/back… in fact i do it all the time!! i think its just ppl make it seems harder.

if there’s something on the screen, you cannot jump back. you need to jump up and then hold back to block. it seems like the same motion, but if you try to jump back, yo’ull just stand there and block. that’s how suki cancelling works.

suki cancelling was hot about five or six years ago.

ok, here’s the premise…

one player is ruby heart and the other is magneto…

ruby heart goes, treasure ghost and right before it comes out, hits magneto with A2 snap out.

The ghost goes off screen, so it’s ALWAYS there… (or for like 5 minutes or something before it dissappears, or until ruby does the ghost super)

now the other person switches back to magneto… they can’t jump backwards because the ghost is still there although off screen. instead of jumping back, they just block…

so magneto has a new infinite…

s.hk 1 hit xx sj back, repeat… beacuse you super jump cancel out of the s.hk into a block

it’s at around 48 seconds into that video… you try to super jump backwards with something on the screen, and you block. you do not super jump.

he does it with cable, magneto’s c.hk, dhalsim, cammy, and maybe one or two others.

I think that video is from 2k4. i still love how much that shows the power of certain characters. to me, that’s the classic mvc2 combo video.
