I gave up on this thing and got a generic Smartjoy Dual from EBay and it works perfectly with my HRAP2 and MAS sticks. I don’t think mine is defective because it works with 4 controllers just not the HRAP2 and plus I got it from Play-Asia so I don’t feel like sending it back. It’s up for grabs in the Trading Outlet if anyone wants it.
hey tl613 could you help me set mine up cause you said you got it to work with just playstation controllers but i can’t…
I would like to help you but I don’t think there is anything beyond what Xorcist and Greescom have already said to do. My Dualshocks worked with just regular plug and play, no driver needed. Like it said in the manual, plug in all the controllers first then plug the adapter into the computer, which I’m sure you’ve tried already.
Also I think I read somewhere that these adapters don’t work if you have Windows XP w/ Service Pack 2. Both computers I tried the adapter on had Service Pack 2, so maybe that is it?
yeah i have service pack 2 installed. anyone here have a mac? i tried it on mac with gamepad companion but i don’t know how to configure more than 1 controller on there… anyways i’d like to try to get it working on windows first but if someone knows how to configure it on mac that would be good too.
thanks all
I’m having trouble with this adapter giving me a blue screen about 5-15 minutes into a game (tried NBA live 2007 and an NES emulator). The error listed is STOP: 0x0000007E maypro.sys I’ve tried uninstalling the driver that came on the floppy disc and installing the driver downloaded from the website, but they appear to be the same 2.01 driver. Anyone know anything I can try, or is this just a bad unit? It’s strange that it will work for a while and then crash the computer…
anyone have any ideas?
i really wanna get this working too, any help is greatly appreciated:lovin:
thanks
