yeah the Brazil thing is really killing it for me. I simply dont want to play against them and their horrendous ping. they should have 2df:Brazil so they can play eachother and not clutter things up.

not good…you gotta take into consideration what type of lag or delay will occur with ppl on the other end of the spectrum…West coast players in this case would take a hit for that…UK= no good

Is there a rough estimate about how long this tourney will last? After about 90 minutes on 2df I start to crash alot.
Very quick. 8 people per round. 2 out of 3 elim. So 8 matches. 8 only because 2 people will be tied for 3rd. So 1 person has to claim 3rd. Top 3 form a team.
Onto Round 2… rinse and repeat.
Onto Finals… Both teams square off. Triple Elim. Partners have to lose 3 times each and they alternate if they lose once. So ABC. If A loses then B goes and so on.

I just had a thought why not have a Ranking system like Gamer’s Vision. Everybody is doing it nowadays, right? Afterall besides jusst plain 'ol fun theres gotta be some point to this tournament. And since money isnt involved why not a ranking system.
Since this is November & December is around the corner this is titled Fall # 3. Once Winter hits then Dec, Jan & Feb will be Winter’s 1, 2 & 3. 3 for each season naturally. So After February is done that’ll be it. March will start the new ranking system for '09. So right now we’ll have Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb to make the most of this point system.
This will be a bit difficulty considering that theres 2 round and a final. So ill have to figure something out by Saturday. Im thinking though to have rnaking for each round and the finals. Thats way everybody gets some points. In fact We’ll start new for each season so If I dont come up with anything for this month thats alright. Winter is around the corner. Stay tuned for details on the point ranking system.
Ok figured it out. Points will be as follows.
Round 1 & 2:
1st - 5
2nd - 4
3rd - 3
4th - 2
5th - 1
Finals:
1st Team - 3
2nd Team - 1
That way over the course of the 3 month season it can be anybody’s game. Not only are you competing individually in the rounds but are competing on teams in the finals so even if youre in the top 3 and put on a team your gonna wanna go for 1st place in the rounds to get the most points by the end of each season. 
We can switch to are back up character if we lose the first match right?
No, thats only if you get put on a team and theres more than 2 of the same character.
So say you make 1st. Your on a team with two others. All of you want to use Ken. Wel only two of you can use him. The 3 people on the team can discuss these matters.

well if you wanna change your main for your alt. then today is the last day to do it.

No you can change in between matches. Changing it if you think you have a better chance against a certain matchup or whatever.
