low tier characters are very delicate and you need to watch out for their life bars. Defense is always a must for using them which creates opportunities for you to attack. Always mix up their moves and combos.
Dude…SOMEONE needs to fix the joysticks and buttons on Marvel!
I came around 7pm, 1p side fierce, short, and assist 1 are crap…on 2p side, you cant even go DOWN on the joystick, but buttons work fine…this place is falling apart!!
I actually visited Regency today, played a couple people, but at least Im getting use to the feel of those joysticks and played much better than last time…but i still play much better on those jap sticks.
I don’t know if this is even practical or not, but I’ve been trying to perfect this combo…
Sentinel w/opponent in corner: s.lk, mp, rp x hsf, laser fly lp, unfly lp, fly lp fp, unfly lk lk, sj lk mp, and just do whatever fly combo or end it with lp + call magneto, unfly fp (mag assist hits) laser rp hsf again, and repeat from the laser fly lp, finish off however you like. I tried this on computer opponent, got about 30 something hits, looks clean, that’s for sure…
Is this worth even mastering? Or is it better to go for the unblockable from the normal launcher lk mp rp, pause, fp fk…land and pause a lil, laser rp hsf?

Hey Calvin! Yeah, that combo is worth learning for execution as Bill already mentioned. I wouldn’t suggest doing it in a tournament unless you are 100% sure you can land the combo, as opposed to doing some big damage corner combo that Mike posted. If you really want to get flashy, you can fly after the laser, then lp xx refly lp, fp xx unfly lk, lk then land…

Arcadefire-LOL, or is it as bad as YOU say it is?? I know you must agree that Super has gone to crap Marvel-wise. 
There hasn’t been a single day this week that both sides were 100% functional. That’s sad, considering the owner KNOWS how popular that game is, but doesn’t give much effort to fix its problems since it makes like .0000001% profit for him compared to all those racing/music games.
magnus is a beast in CvS2 
i found out that the cabs only function 100% in the mornings when the older guy is there…then when lunch hits or something…it gets fucked up again, cuz the buttons keep getting twisted and makes the wires disconnect from underneath…
maibe if he glued the buttons or something lol…but that wudnt help anything, id say get new button frames to make the holes smaller so it’ll stick

I’m actually at student at cal poly now and i’ve tested the comp here a couple times recently and i’m not impressed. Went to orientation today and during lunch hit the MvC2 machine up and went 12 straight wins, gave up and left.
I remember the old days when magnus, taiji and a few others used to play here; why did you guys have to graduate?! Super is too far to come on my lunch break now (well at least in winter 08)!
There are a few good people that do attend Cal Poly and still play. Dark Prince (from what I know he still attends school there), Evilj (Jeremy), Strider Hiryu (Nam), and Alex (Tranceboi). There are a few others, just depends when they go I guess.
