The whole experience was such a great time. Its hard to even express how nice it was to get a chance to go all the way out the southern California to play the best in the country. Everyone was so cool and it was a pleasure to get to speak with fellow 3rd strike players. Thanks to the denjin crew for throwing this badass event.
Although there was actually no Tekken (cuz Matt Chin lied :[ ) and drummania was locked up, props to Denjin for keeping 3S alive and running awesome tournaments. I wish (for Rom’s sake) NorCal had a 3S scene like yours. :[

Denjin kids - thanks for having Rom, Ricky, and me out to eat with you guys; this weekend would have been garbage without that (not becuase of the tournament but various other reasons).

Ill be making a blog post in a few days with the experience I had this weekend and ill post a link to the 3 hour footage of MOV playing (that’s NOT including top 8) and a link to a word document or notepad of all the things I learned from him (I put all the info on my phone)
As of right now I’m waiting to get to a working computer in order to do all this so it’ll take a few days

Had a really good time at this event. Good games to everyone I played. EC 3S needs to step it’s game up and for me this was a good indicator of what needs to be worked on, my game specifically.
Really good shit, we’ll probably come to the next big event that happens.

somethings i remember about mov tips before i forget:
mov did the DED technique with chunli lowjab as a counterpoke, he did it vs pyro or yi i can’t remember
also i was talkingn to ricky and he said that meaty uoh is really hard to block, he would often do it into rh into super, but even if whiffed i think you can do low forward for a very tricky high low mixup
