I remember one time in an arcade when doing the im inf. to proton cannon, they started screeching about being cheap and lame. Next guy comes up and i get him in the inf as well, as some random scrub guys viewing the game says shake the stick you can get out of it, i’m like no you can’t, then that guy again says ya you can… then i’m like uhhh no you can’t unless i mess up. The whole time i’m talking to that guy while carrying the d00d i’m playing to the corner for his death, he starts to shake the stick so vigorously that the whole damn machine starts shaking, lol kill off his first character, gb his next one and of course i get the “wtf i blocked!!!”
I also can’t stand mf’s that just sit there and watch peeps play, and do side commentary, even though they suck at the damn game themselves. There was this one d00d who always watched us play cvs2 and was talking about this one guy who played with akuma, who was a pretty damn good akuma too, and the sideline scrub was like man he’s got a scrubby akuma! i’m thinking wtf stfu… Then he’s watching someone else played whos pretty good get ocv’d by prolly the best player that plays at that arcade, then heres this idiot again, man even i could of gotten to the second character. The thing is when this guy plays like once in every 3 weeks at the arcade the better players mess around on him, so he actually thinks he’s doing ok, even though they are just using him as a practice dummy lol. One time he’s like i almost had him… i was like no you didn’t lol. I finally got to play him and i didn’t take it easy on him at all, i ocv’d him with chun, needless to say he didn’t have anything to say after that.

i told my bro that i dont know if i can serve him or not(cuz u never know…the kid could be nice:bluu:). so we turned cvs2 on xbox play & i picked ken ratio 4 versus my lil bros friend kyo ratio 2, joe ratio 1 & terry ratio 1. now these are some decent chars so i thought i was about to be crushed.
FIGHT STARTS
i win. didnt even knock me down 2 half of my health. fight 2. i win. crush the kid with the illest cornertrap i’ve done in a while. fight 3. almost gets me this time but i still rushed him down with 1/3 health & managed 2 beat joe & terry @ the end.

And to add a new one… Was playing someone a few weeks ago. Dude hit me up on AIM, talking about how “school is in session!”. He made the mistake of telling me his girl was there watching. So I said fuck the bullshit and beat him 25-2. He hasn’t played me with his girl over since…at least not with me.
I remember back in the day I would play Hyper Fighting with my sister on the snes. After kicking her ass numerous times in a row she would always throw the controller down, stand up and exclaim “That’s it, let’s play REAL Street Fighter” and start to hit me.

CLEARLY, this is the case, because throws have been toned down to do pitiful amounts of damage in comparison to the old days. why do you think ppl would stab u over a throw? BECUZ IT DID 2 MUCH DAMAGE IT WAS LAME.
now u want to see a game where throws are done correctly see mvc2 - they are practically worthless as they do no damage whatsoever. unless ure name is magneto-in-da-corner, in which case throw = death. even then it is not the throw per se that does the damage, but rather that its just a legit part of ure rushdown reset game. so its cool. unlike sf2, where u push a button and BLAM opponent explodes. yeah, throws have definitely been toned down since the days of sf2, AND FOR GOOD REASON. no more ridiculous ez mode damage. soooo yeah sf2 throws r CHEAP AND SUXORS. LOOK AT THE DAMAGE.
