Cleaning up the metal panel isn’t that hard. Do a search on “How To Clean Rust With Coca-Cola” then I would maybe spray the panel with some cheap Rustoleum. The question I have is does it even work? that rust sure as hell looks more like water damage than say regular play. Sucks either way, hope you at least got a decent deal on it.
thx to answer ,i don’t know how the rust is coming, but i’m sure is not water , artwork is very very clean no damage…is so weird lol outside panel are very clean like new! lol
is mysterious lol
im very carefull with my stick , i clean all the time after played…
not near sea/ocean, this stick is from Paris,
i buyed used… i guess player before me perspiration too much & not carefull
loutwice, let me know , what markman say, about artwork, i want too lol
The silent buttons work fine. They stick up a little more than the regular ones since the pad is in there. The silent jlf feels just like a stock jlf with slightly less resistance since the switches are softer.
The SFxT variant may be discontinued (after all, game licenses typically have a short shelf life - it’s a “once they’re gone, they’re gone” kind if thing), but they followed up with the SH version not long ago.
I don’t think the VS itself is dead… Perhaps they are working on a new game license or a different variant to release.
Not for sale “anymore”… It was the headlining sale item in the Mad Catz Online store during EVO, and Video X Games weekends. It was selling at regular price ($219), but they offered free shipping.
Not officially. You may call madcatz and ask. I called PDP and they sent me a replacement square gate from their scrap bin drawer. Otherwise, try posting in Trade. I am sure someone has a shell that is fucked up and parted out. Last resort is take it to a machining shop. I did some rough estimates for a hit box panel a ways back and it was like $15 per panel. Prices should be similar.
