He clearly meant playable. Other than showing what Jin’s roots were Kazuya had less than a minute’s worth of screen time in all of T3, not exactly Main Character material for that game.
Regardless, this is a much better thread than that shit with zero proofs that everyone started taking as true all because I deleted it.
If you look at the on screen information in the beginning of this video, you can notice it says “build 0,” which I guess means this is the very first version of this game they’ve ever compiled. If that is so, I commend them because very rarely do games companies show such early footage of games in development, this quite literally has been slapped together…
Did Kazuya do a crossup? And it looks like SFIV versions of Tekken characters, not so much a cut and paste. Stage designs are like SFIV… just stating the obvious.
I find it unusual that Namco would agree to this. Ono has said in the past that SFIV is done and SFxT would likely supercede SFIV - but the Tekken series is continuing to move forward, with T7 currently in development. Wouldn’t TxSF be in direct competition with T7/T7’s inevitable expansion?
game doesnt look to bad. well for me i guess. i like the stuff that they did with the double team i thought it was dope seeing how ryu and chun did their ultras from 4. just wondering how the combo’s will be. so far it looks like seahorse vs capcom mix with some ssf4. i wonder how will they do their combos will it be like just hitting a,b,c or w/e or will it be like chains like how dudley have them in 3s and stuff. well anyways looking forward for more news and hopefully namco can make some sf characters do some crazy juggles like in the tekken series shit would look so pringles lolz.
I think the Soul Calibur engine would be more appropriate for the Namco version than the Tekken engine. It’s much freer and more adaptable to projectiles and aerial movement. Heck, Heihachi already made a pretty convincing jump into the SC world…
And, if not the Soul Calibur engine, then use the Urban Reign engine. That game was awesome, Namco. Bring it back.
I actually meant to say it was beautiful seeing it used in this system, since it was neglected in Super. The only wall bounce I can recall on there was Gouken’s Denjin Hadouken.
Oddly enough, my first time seeing it was in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, lol.
