The combo system is now chain combos instead of links, which is already a drastic improvement.
There are wall bounces to add more juggling, and you’re forgetting the fact that there are VERY clearly Tekken elements added such as hit strings (not target combos, it’s different), and seemingly longer hitstun to make up for the lack of launchers.
please just stop this thread already. besides it being fucking horrible, the game is not getting any new info for over 6 months, and isnt dropping for another 2 years.
Why the fuck are people coming into this thread just to shit on it? It’s literally ONE THREAD in an entire fucking forum. It’s easy enough to miss by mistake, even easier if you specifically choose to avoid it.
People are going to speculate, that was the entire fucking point of Ono dropping the gameplay trailer on us so early.

Wall bounce is in Super.
The only difference between those strings and existing target combos that are in Super are the way they’re animated. The target versions of some of Ibuki’s moves are different than the stand-alone ones anyways. (eg., jab>strong>sweep causes a juggle state and chains to standing roundhouse, sweep does not). They do enough hitstun that they combo with the cancel frames at the very end of the move instead of immediately after active frames. It’s not a big deal on a system level, just character specific frames and animations.
I feel sorry for some of the people here. What FGs are you gonna be playing while I enjoy these upcoming games? Especially Tekken X Street Fighter. Ryu with bound combos? SICK!

During the panel, Ono asked if anyone wanted another Darkstalkers game, and if they did, they had to take a dollar out and hold it out in the air. Literally the whole room puts a dollar or even their wallet in the air. So there’s hope…

No, Kilik does not automaticly win against the short range characters in SC, so I doubt Dhalsim would be too good to fit into the game. Dhalsim’s limbs will probably easy to sidestep. I also imagine that the fireballs will be handled like Algol’s in SCIV. Forcing the player to shoot in different directions to really cover the space in front of them.
they should put in Asuka and Lili because Asuka can fight Sakura and Lili can fight Karin i mean look at this Asuka and Sakura are both schoolgirls and Lili and Karin are both rich, and they are both rivals of each other.
