I’m a sceptic about the art style…it seems REALLY hit or miss, I’d like slightly less “I am a gorilla” from Ryu though, he looks barbaric. I understand he is a stray wanderer but I’ve always seen him as a refined warrior.
Also, me actually deciding to buy a PS4 just seems better and better at this point. Hope the netcode isn’t PS3 tier.
As a PS fan 4 lyfe, I’m not happy that this is exclusive to PS4. I want as many people to be playing this as possible. It’s not in the game’s long term interest to limit the number of people able to play it.
I’m assuming they plan to have crossplay that’s why Xbone isn’t getting it. Plus, Sony probably paid Capcom extra for exclusivity and they need something to compete with KI… although KI isn’t going to stand a chance at all with SF5.
It doesn’t seem revolutionary, but does it have to be? Art style will change a bit, roster will fluctuate a bit. What is it that we are expecting? The perfect fighting game? A game everyone approves of and never gets mad at? Good luck, Capcom.
In all seriousness I think people are just disappointed with this because we didn’t need this sequel this soon. This just looks like more of the same. Graphics are shinier but still use the exact same art style. Gameplay still looks sluggish and uses the ink splash gimmicks from SF4. They’re not doing enough new things.
