Anyone else getting a SFV itch? We should have gotten some kind of update by now.
We SHOULD have gotten an update, but it’s expected that we haven’t. You can’t have a worldwide server issue on that scale and expect to hear about a fix or a reschedule within days. They screwed up hard with the networking for the beta and something that big isn’t a simple fix.
I assume that’s why all their rhetoric about the beta when asked is very vague.
You’re right. Still doesn’t curb the anticipation. Guess I’ll have rewatch gameplay on YouTube. They’ll only work for so long though. LoL
If I hear right the newer builds are vastly different now, so please don’t try and memorise any character knowledge from the beta because it’ll most likely end up a waste of time.
Until official release everything is liable to fucking huge changes, so best not to devote time learning things now. This also raises the question - will we get to play the latest build?
Good question. If they’re taking this long to reschedule the beta it’s very likely they’re updating it and adding extra characters.
Im used to adapting quickly to changes so bring on whatever it is.
What I would also like Capcom to do is use the Beta to test different builds of the game, like with various balance changes. They could still use the beta to test out the netcode, which is primarily target right now, and also collect feedback on which build players prefer the most, since the game is in active development right now and internal testing isn’t enough when it comes to changing certain move/character traits, especially since I doubt Capcom has gotten much of a feedback from people who tested the game at, say, Gamescom
It’s been over two weeks now though, that’s a long ass time to not hear even a tweet about the current state of the beta. I’m at least expecting to get ken and necalli, hell maybe even vega but I wouldn’t count on it too much. How about alt color 3? I demand pink bison.

Yea popped on my PS4 and got a beta update. Mine is 1.214 GB not 1.4
But it’s downloading right now…maybe an announcement coming up in the next few days?

Hopefully they open up the servers over the weekend, i don’t have anything planned.
I would think they would push characters through there new client for further testing, not with a patch. I think the entire patch is on client side stuff needed to properly interact with the sever fixes. I would be shocked if Ken wasn’t in this beta though.
