I’m guessing the 10002 and 10003 error codes are actually different servers that can be logged into?
Just got off, only got booted like twice. went 8-1, only lost my first game. matched up against Nash everytime except a ryu mirror. i really wanted to face bison or birdie
this game is a dream. everything feels so smooth and the speed is perfect, the weight of the characters and the hits are perfect. its reminding me of 3s a lot. the game looks beautiful, anyone saying it looks last gen needs to play it now. the improvement in character model is ridiculous. I wish ken was in it tho /: as fun as ryu is hes not my style. i was rushing fools down with ryu by my last game
i know they said they wanted to make a sf everyone could play, this definitely feels like it. im gonna be a top player in sfv
3rd time in got matches non stop for half an hour.
Kagemusha rollback code works really well.
NickRocks for Evo 2016 champ.
Pretty much I do the cr.LK st.LP starter against the whole cast if I can get in point blank or land a j.MK really close or cross up. J.HK puts them too far out for that starter to work. If it hits against a croucher, I do the st.MP into Sweep for finish. If I hit standing, then I end with Target Combo (which the last hit whiffs on crouchers.)
If blocked, I chain the st.LP into cr.LP for the frame advantage and walk backwards and whiff punish people when they stick out a poke. If they start to respect me, then I dash in throw like in Third Strike. Of course if you can hit confirm the block jump-in or cr.LK, you can tick throw directly from there or walk backwards and let their throw tech whiff and punish with a chunky combo, maybe even from f.HP.
That’s how I do Ryu’s inside game so far and it’s been blowing up people pretty hard.
If you do the Hadou too fast you get DP, but the cancel window is kinda huge on cr.MK so you can pretty consistently do walk forward and df.MK at the quickest timing, then delay the QCF input to not get DP. Another way to do it is do cr.MK xx hcf+P and you pretty consistently get a Hadouken.
Cr.MK xx DP when I wanted Hadou only happened very rarely, but it can/does happen. Game feels good overall. Ryu’s pokes just need to be a tad longer on st.MK and cr.MK, but everything else feels good.
The issue I see is though that many characters such as Cammy’s, Chun’s and Ryu’s cr.MKs (on top of a few other normals) tend to have no hitboxes at the tip. Like there’s no hurt box or hit box, so you just have animations overlap without anything connecting. Chun Li’s neutral stance has her front foot not have a hurtbox so that doesn’t help either, so you have Ryu’s cr.MK hella poking into Chun Li without anything connecting.
I’d say the fix to this is just simply having the hitboxes reflect the animation, but oh well we’ll see down the line.
Finally got in 30 minutes ago. My only match of Charlie vs. Ryu and I won. After that training room for 5 minutes and booted.
Now the game will not let me play it any more. I get to the menu screen and it just forces me back to the PS4 main menu with no “connection lost” sign. It’s like Capcom gave me my chance and said “that’s it for you. Want to play it again? Wait until release!”. No biggie though.
Good stuff. Thanks for the insight!
Weird, now after getting an error, the game just boots me back to the PS4 main interface.
Yeah same here.
I wonder what could be going on!
I think they figured out the “place something heavy on the confirm button” tech.
I’ll give you one more guess.
Beta ended?
The severs closed like 2 hours ago guys. Lol
It’s funny because I finally connected right at 1AM and got training mode for 15 whole minutes before it booted me out to the PS4 interface. Probably the last time I’ll get to do anything in this beta.
Fuck ya’ll…
Best regards,
Us without code in Europe :’(
Join the hypetrain, as several people got in from europe, even with eu psn/eu codes.
Too bad I don’t have a code at all
But I’ll try to be happy for you and the information I get out of it
