4:00PM: We’ve noticed it’s taking longer than usual for players to get matched up with an opponent. We’re currently looking at the issue and working to resolve it before we increase server capacity.
4:20PM: We are still looking into a solution for the matchmaking issues. Nothing new to report.
these are the latest updates on the Capcom unity progress blog. Good luck guys! I’m going to bed its 1.30 in the morning here.
I love this game so much, my anti airs actually work (even online!) and I can RTSD without having to worry about getting mashed at all the time. You did well capcom, you did well.
4:35PM: We have not been able to get the matchmaking fixed, and will be resetting the servers shortly. We are aiming to turn them back on at 5:00PM. We will post again when they are turned back on
Not sure, I scrubbed out a couple mp shoryu’s and it worked for the most part.
Dunno if people really hit meaty though since I only played against scrublords.
HP SRK is ass as an anti air, it traded or got stuffed pretty much everytime I used it. I’m assuming LP SRK has lower body invincibility, otherwise it would be completely useless since you can’t combo off of it like you can in SF4. Only thing I don’t like is throws seem kinda weird. Like I would get thrown out of attacks that should have been active and were decently far away, yet my throw would whiff a few inches away from their body.
TBH what I’ve seen/played against, it’s really not that bad and you can react to it once you know the options he has. Of course, this is probably the 1st day most Nash players have had in training mode, so I won’t be surprised when dirty setups are found, either.
Like it or not, dude brings people into fighting games. He is basically a PR/marketing machine and having so much popularity on YouTube and Twitch (15k viewers, probably reached 20k by now) = easiest gain of publicity for the game, which is exactly what Capcom needs, to push it to as many people as possible and get them to buy the game (especially since it’s a new installment of Street Fighter).
So yeah, as much as it must hurt you guys to sit and mash X, I’d rather have Max show the game off to people rather than some retard like DSP
