Damn so late lol
I foresee problems with the beta launch. The Ultra update launch came hours late, and PSN hasn’t had the best track record of, you know, WORKING the last couple years. I’ll be astonished if everything goes smoothly Thursday night.
Yeah I’m not expecting it too either.
FYI I don’t think you can cancel preorders one you receive a code for a promo item. I know GameStop has a similar policy to prevent reselling of codes for risk free profit. I may be wrong, but something to watch out for in the future.
Preordered 2 weeks ago from amazon.com with US shipping address and German billing address.
Got no code.
Cancelled the preorder today and then preordered again. US billing address this time.
Two minutes later I received my code.
Created a US PSN account and successfully redeemed the code in the store.
As I write this the SF5 beta client is downloading.
I hate living in Europe atm…

I’m curious if we can send our feedback directly from the Beta appreciation. I don’t want to register to Capcom Unity to put my feedback there.
Kind of dissapointing that it starts that late. It’ll be like 9:30 pm for me. They should of said 4 days not 5…realistically…
It also ends late on the 28th, which does count as 5 days.
Got my beta from gamestop. Had to cancel the original pre order and pre order it again,they print the code right out for ya on the receipt.
Curious, somewhat related question - do the other phases of the beta come from other clients, or will they all be playable through this one?
Alright then, that’s good. I thought I had read that it would end on the 28th right as midnight struck; that would of been shitty.
When I downloaded the beta there were 2 applications. The first is the client and the other was “Street Fighter V trial 1” or something along those lines. I would like to think future betas will use the same client.
Quick question for the Europe sign-up players, if you’ve been accepted into the beta, do you already have a code or a confirmation email that tells you that you’re in or do you just have to wait until the 23rd and hope for the best?

I haven’t gotten one yet. Maybe I just didn’t get chosen at all. We’ll see, though considering my shitty luck I’m possible I’m out of the beta until who-knows-when
Ah, okay. Also signed up for the beta the ‘right’ way last month. Haven’t got a response yet.
IIRC they said they’ll send out these mails on July 23rd.
At the Vallejo Six Flags, the noodles were still in the game, but got immediately knocked off when you got hit once.
