I hope with Dhalsim that SOTA copies what Toybiz did with one of their recent Mr.Fantastic figures, with the articulated arm and leg extension attachments pieces. It won’t detract from the sculpt any and it’ll collectors the ability to recreate his medium and hard punch/kicks.
I think a Yoga Infenro head attachment woud be pretty cool too. :tup:
I’m turning over a new leaf. Sort of. I want people to continue voting against these choices…but not because I don’t want them. Because I know now the line will survive until these three casts are done. So, even those of you who really want Hugo, or those who(for whatever reason)want the Chun/Bison redux, DON’T vote for them. SOTA will probably thumb their noses at us and close down production once these figures are finished.
SOTA stated that they have every intention of releasing as many SF characters as possible. We all know though that once the ST cast is finished, and probably will be with Honda up to close it, the following lines will most likely lose popularity. The way I see it best case scenario is that Honda doesn’t make this line, Round 7 he headlines it, and Round 8 starts the decline/end of the series. I only hope that we get some of the other Alpha and 3S characters squeezed out before they pull the plug. Voting for the variant sculpts hurts the overall series IMO due to my theory on the popularity, those slots could be used for characters not done yet that could be potentially be lost by the end.

Actually, from what I’ve heard, Round 6 may be the last round.
Retailers aren’t carrying the line anymore and there has been word that Round 6 may even be an internet exlusive.
And we didn’t even get Karin to go with Sakura…

Then again, weren’t we supposed to get SF Round 4 and DS Round 1 by now?
I know all of the brick-n-mortar places I would go to to get the figures don’t carry them anymore (Gamestop, Hot Topic), so that can’t be a good sign…
SF round 4 is out and sota decided to get darkstalkers series one out by first of next year as they are changing factories to provide more on time schedules,better quality control and such. Hot topic carries them and will continue to according to Jerry.If hot topic does not have any they are sold out of anything prior to round 4 and probably should be geting round 4 very soon,next week or so. I believe gamestops stopped selloing figures in general.
the street fighters have been selling very well and retail chains like hot topic,comic book stores and other specialty chains will continue to carry them and the online stores as well.If you notice alot of the online stores they are already selling out of alot of the varients.the series is no risk at all now and Jerry stated if the series does not get cut more than half of the sales it does now then they will still continue to make them but possibly going online only.Jerry is determined to do them all and all the darkstalkers as well. I am not concerned by this,but we do need to support other valuable characters like Effie,Anita and Poison as they are possible but not for sure yet.
I forgot, how long does it usually take for the votes to be counted? Closing date has passed and I’m both eager and sadly soon to be disapointed by the results. We all know Alex never stood a chance. :sad:
Here in Canada, we won’t even get Round 4 until JULY.
