Street Fighter in Beijing?

I’m going to be in town next week. Staying in 望京.

저는 론 버건디 입니까?

Thanks, I appreciate it

I’m more of an anime fighter, but I totally WILL take this opportunity to learn SF4 and keep pumping out fundamentals. I should be there by February 19. As soon as I get connected to some kind of internet, I’ll get on here and see what’s going on.

Right on. Where are you studying?

3S在我家的北京吗?!?!?!?!?!

如果北京在你家里的话,你家人很有财富。

Communications with a focus in Public Relations. We’re doing some kind of PR project in China, to boot. So that’ll be one helluva an experience.

But I just want to learn about China, anyway.

Quick question for anyone with a ps3. How do you access PSN when I register for an HK account it asks me for an address and all sorts of things I don’t have. I have a bunch of dlc that is HK only so I would like to get a HK account

Just google an address in HK. I used a famous dim sum chain.

I actually live on CAU campus. Small world!<div><br></div><div>Arcade wise, not really. The closest one I’m aware of is at Wudaokou, but I think it probably sucks.</div>

Oh nice!  Well I brought my arcade stick just in case there’s a console/computer to play on anywhere lol. ;)<div><br></div><div>Probably sucks in terms of working quality or selection? … Or both?  Lmao.</div><div><br></div><div>EDIT: Also, what does that leave in terms of good, visit-worthy arcades in Beijing?  I would like to go to one at least once.</div>

Xidan is probably the place to go now. I honestly haven’t been in a minute.

Hmmm alright.  I wouldn’t mind making a trip out to get that experience.  I assume the best way to get there is cab?  Totally should make a good Saturday out of it or something.

<p>Long time no see, thread.</p><p>The arcade is in the mall right by the subway station, lines 1 and 4 go there, there’s also a lot of bus routes, off the top of my head 22 runs late and stops near 牡丹园, which is close to at least some universities.  The first post has more detailed info.</p><p>Also never buy coins at the counter, they are way over priced.  Though it probably matters less for SF, which I think is still 1 coin/play?  Also they imported a Japanese SSF, I guess they want to hook it up to the network in future (but who knows, the owner is random).</p>

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>If you’re looking for something to do on Friday, my band is playing a show at Temple in/by Nanlou Guxiang. Come on out.</span></font><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”><br></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>http://www.timeoutbeijing.com/venue/Bars__Clubs-Bars__Clubs/12524/Temple-Bar.html</span></font><br></div>

My tonight filled up with necessary orientation stuff unfortunately.  I’m thinking I don’t have plans for Saturday, so I may go check out one of the arcades.  Thanks for the info, Carmen.

I’ll be dropping into Xidan for a bit sometime in the afternoon - if you’ll be around I’ve sent my number in a PM

I’m heading out to Xidan after getting some food.  Catch whoever’s going there!

Thanks for coming out Rod and Chris   I had a blast at this arcade and totally looking forward to going again, or further hanging out.

looks like we’re hanging out for dinner tomorrow night. Rod gave me your number… I’ll keep you in the loop.
