Yeah started a chinese class last week. Finally got everything sorted out so hopefully it should be smooth sailing for the next bit.

Alright folks, this may sound ridiculous but I am dead serious, so here we go.
With the three day weekend coming up I was thinking, hmmm…why not go somewhere and look around. Somewhere seriously random. I was looking up bus and plane schedules and was thinking about doing a leave early Monday morning, come back late Tuesday night to ??? --> ??. More specifically, to ??? (Shaolin Temple).
They’re open to the public (an unfortunately getting more and more commercial) and we probably wouldn’t want to stay in that area too long anyway, so a full day there and a day poking around ??. Round trip tickets are around 1300 RMB at the moment and hotel/food/etc. would probably be 100-200 MAX since it’s a Tier 3 city.
However, there are cheaper tickets way down the line (i.e. not over this holiday), but if people are interested now or later this month, I am totally down, since it would only take a weekend either way, 3 day or not.
On another note, that ridiculous “Blizzard” theme park is opening up in two months if anyone is interested in a jaunt down south.
Let me know! I am so hype on this.
As much as I’d love to go check out the shaolin temple, this week is a big no-no for me as I’m basically a shut-in until my exam on Thursday (it’s the only one I actually really need to pass this year, but that means I really really need to pass it). As for going in the future, I still hear there’s a scary-as-all-hell rope bridge you need to cross to get there that makes me more than a little nervous, but I’d still want to go.
And personally on the topic of random goings/adventures, I am thinking this can only be a good thing. Definitely something to make happen at some point in the (preferably near) future.

lately weve been(me and a japanese friend) going to ?? as far as i know yesterday they had only a 1 viewlix pair of AE and 2 pair of SF4 ,very good level basically the best player there are a ken and a yang player.
the rest is so so ,on the other ??still the same.
?? has this sick idea about making you pay four rmb for 1 play which is out of question,the few guys that have cards have 100 rmb 50 token i think.

SSF4AE DLC trailer has been leaked! Capcom’s taking down videos as fast as they can. We got our “official” confirmation at last. hehe

Also im not usually a huge fan of this crap. Capcom seems to way over-react and punish us by pushing back the release date.

For sessions tomorrow, if you guys can bring two more sticks we could get an emulator setup going with my laptop for some 3rd Strike and other fighters.
Gentle Menne, it is with great regret that I announce the end of my brief tenure in Beijing. I’ll be leaving at the end of the month for *hopefully greener work pastures in Shanghai. So look at it as not losing the handsomest street fighter player in Beijing, but now you’ve got a place to crash at in Shanghai. Unfortunately, a side effect of resigning is more work so casuals are tough to make anymore.

went down to the schlong today.
There is deff 1 AE setup. I brought down the unlock code for evil ryu to see if i could unlock him (apparently got the wrong code, anybody know what the correct one is?).
First time i went there, they said the had a code but didnt know how to input it. I showed them how to input it. Now they said the lost the code. 
Ill get evil ryu there eventually.

Well, it’s been short, but a fun time guys. Hopefully I’ll level up to be an actual threat to you online, although I think the north/south China internet divide might make that crazy laggy. I’ll check my weekends to see when I’M NOT WORKING OT and let you guys know, I’ll really try to make casuals this weekend, crunch or not.
Oh hey, for some reason, the Schlong has Evil Ryu AND Oni Akuma unlocked now.
