i dont claim to be good at ST, and maybe he would beat me in a first to 10 on that, but i guarantee it wouldnt be an ownage to the extent of what happened to him on HYPER.
Live made me change my account for profanity reasons (“butt” is profane apparently), so Smashtausen is one of my new names, it’s like my mess-around account. I’m trying to learn Sagat, so I picked Sagat a bunch of times in a row. Dekor sends me this voice message: “For someone that plays only Sagat, you fucking suck, bro. I can’t even believe the wins you pull off, you’re garbage!” And I had my tv on mute, but apparently he talked so much trash that the other dude we were playing with felt he had to send me a text message saying not to mind what Dekor was saying (and also not to worry because Dekor is the laughingstock of Live).
But now you say good game? Man, Dekor. What a strange person you must be. There’s no point in defending yourself against accusations of douchebaggery by saying we only know you as a voice on a Street Fighter game; plenty of such voices seem like very nice people, and in any case you’re not required to broadcast your voice in the first place.

The bad spelling and grammar and pointlessly angry demeanor could be considered symptoms of a brain tumor as much as they could be indicative of you merely being an insufferable asshole. You claimed that you were drunk, well if you can’t abstain from hitting the sauce before you host a game, maybe you should turn your mic off so we don’t have to hear your shrill, obnoxious voice shouting sophomoric insults, all the while skirting the issue of your subpar play and overt reliance on tick-throws?

Ignore dekor. He complains every time you beat him no matter what you do or how you beat him. You should do what i do and just start kicking people if they want to act like dumb asses.
You were the one who brough this loser out of the woodwork. If I recall correctly - and seeing as how my faculties weren’t similarly dulled by cheap booze, why wouldn’t I - your exact words were…

To which I responded, “I don’t know who you’re talking to.”
To which you eloquently retorted, “You know who, you fuckin’ faggot. Give me my rematch.” (His second rematch, I’m sure he meant, seeing as how I had already cleaned the floor with his pathetic tick-throw/jump-kick crazy Bison twice)
The other gentleman in the room suggested I simply boot you, but I went ahead and gave you a second rematch, all the while asking why you were so angry at me, an answer you never felt the need to provide. You got the luck of the draw, Vega’s stage popped up, and you got a win, though we split rounds. Congrats to you! I didn’t stick around to be booted or screamed at, some more.
I think it’s self-evident from this sequence of events who the loser really is. If you want to fight again, I won’t be granting your request, and I don’t think anyone on here will begrudge me for not doing so.
GG’s to everyone I played yesterday. Way too many names to mention. While I don’t think it’s fixed, my internet connection was actually working fairly decently. It was so much fun to be able to play reasonable matches again :woot:
I finally finished my stick for the 360, and only now do I fully realize just how terrible the lag is on this thing. Before, I figured I wasn’t getting my stuff out because I was using a pad, but now that I have a stick, I can recognize that commands that would normally come out in time just… don’t. I’d always assumed that when someone jumped in and their attack whiffed and they immediately went low or when someone went low as I was waking up or someone did an attack as I was walking up that I couldn’t block it because the 360 controller wasn’t precise enough about the directions, but it turns out that no, the 360 just can’t send the information fast enough for me to be able to block when someone jumps in with a whiff and goes low. Uhhhhhhhhhhhh… !!
Man, I spent all this time making a dual PS-360 stick, and now I don’t have any reason to use the 360 part of it.
