x=lk
o=mk
r1=hk
square=mp
triangle=hp
r2=ppp
l1=lp
l2=kkk

Though I try not to use meteors, the r2 (ppp) acts like lp for throw, and mp for surprise blow

aka
x+r2 to throw
o+r2 to surprise blow (hard attack in japanese version)

though I have no problem hitting
triangle+r1 to change

so thats what I normally use.

Unless for whatever reason I decide to switch ppp and kkk if I wanted to do meteors (as L2 is more difficult for me to press while using the directional pad), or change button config for other Ace specific stuff (mashing during fairy gift, or his 3 part special move geifu whatever lol).

When it comes to those it’d probably be easier to play on an actual arcade stick (same with excels), but I suck on stick (for now at least).

Interesting… mine is this:

Square = LP
Triangle = MP
X = HP
Circle = HK
L1 = LK (Throw only in EX3)
L2 = PPP
L3 = Hard Attack
R1 = MK
R2 = KKK
R3 = Change

Not to use LK in EX3 doesn’t affect me, since I can use KKK in his place…

And for example to make the Shun Goku Satsu I would need LK, but when using the button of Throw this one would work as LK so I don’t have any problem…

For the Changes I might press circle and X, and for the Hard Attack would be triangle and R1, but I prefer to use the Analog Stick for this and thus I take advantage of all of buttons, besides for me this is more easy…

This is my perfect configuration lol

looks good

for the auction, god damn people distracting me when I was about to bid, so I missed it but like 15 seconds.

fuck. Now I have to wait to bid on the one in japans auctions…

Which was the bid?

The board that I wanted to get was an arcade Street Fighter EX2 board (no plus or anything). Which ended up finishing at $107.50. And when I was waiting for the time to run out so I could be at the last second, someone comes up and starts talking to me thus distracting me. So when they finally walked away there was 7 seconds left on the auction and by the time I put in my bid and placed it the auction was already over >.< But I would’ve bid 130-150 dollars.

So now I’ve got to wait for it to show up in the yahoo japan auctions which would now run me 200 dollars (including shipping since its traveling halfway around the world).

Part one of My ‘ken vs Gief’ vid is now up

under local gaming news.

EX2 was used lots. Trying to do the whole machinima thing.

Lots of cool masking effects, and good editting. Lookin good.

Very nicely done. :china:

Wow that was great… how long did it take you to do it? How long till part 2?

So…does anybody know which characters Capcom still owns?

They own all the originals still, just not the EX only ones like Skullo, Garuda, etc.

What about Doctrine Dark? Even though he was an EX exclusive…he had a story that tied in a few of the other SF characters…but…so did Allen.

So did that other company take them both?

All the EX characters had stories tied in with the original Capcom charcters, but ARIKA still owns the rights to the charcters themselves. Not even the toy company SOTA can make EX characters for their lines even though they have a deal with Capcom.

Oh that just blows…

Allen was my favorite shotoclone…and Doctrine Dark was snazzy…

thanks :slight_smile: I’ve had the idea for around a year, lol, But I’ve been doing it on and off for a few months. I’ll work on it for a few days then lose interest for weeks, i’m really lazy. Also there’s a good 10 minutes more to come, just need to finish the final part.

Part 2 will be up in about a week :slight_smile:

OK, got a few questions:
1- Do Arika still own Allen and Blair? Cuz if not, what company owns them now?
2- Can someone link me to where I may find info on the differences between the EX & EX+ versions?
Thanks

ARIKA took Blair and allen out of the SFEX universe by putting them in Fighting Layer. Thus ARIKA still owns them and can still freely use them. Unlike the rest of the ARIKA characters that are still tied in the SFEX series.

^thanks, I was told that a thread like that was in GF, but I couldn’t find it ^_^v.
Speaking of Fighting Layer; which systems were they released to?

It was only released on the arcade system 11 board. It was not ported to any consoles.
