Well the lp.shoryuken is one of them, his lightning kick is another. Besides that, he also has some unblockable setups according to Jester. Like knock them down with a shoryuken, explosive where they are and jump over them to cross them up (just like D.Dark in EX2+) which would then lead to another infinite from him. Also less damage scaling in a combo compared to other characters.
Great work on this one, and thanks for making it. I never got Nanaseās rod trick; I always hated that character. Guileās was a lot easier for me than the one he had in EX+a though.
you should try figure out nanases mission in japanese version⦠now that was a hard thing to figure out but pretty obvious after i messed around with the superā¦
that and that area one where you have to send the thingy through the floor and do her move where you go to the opponents back⦠:xeye:
and for guile, heās easier in this one that in the first EX well⦠almost all of the characters have easier missions in this game than in the previous⦠
shinji nice job once again
To Jester and co. I had a chance to play Jeron and Justin Wong at MWC today, and it was a blast. Jeron gave me trouble with Sharon, Sakura and a bit of Ken (mainly single character combos), and Justin did some tag combos with Ken and Ryu along with some momentaries. Unfortunately I couldnāt record anything. But should the oppurtunity arise to play them I wouldnāt decline (unless youāre feeling spiteful lol).
Estimated scores, Jeron win 60% against me. Justin 2-1 him (messed up my last combo in the last match >.<). Then several others. Hopefully itāll go this well tomorrow.
But anyway, just wanted to make sure that you got that info.
This was something that I found. In Street Fighter EX3, you can choose to have in training mode the combo dumbies be controlled by the CPU. On top of that if you choose their guard to be āall guardā and then play the CPU with that on. Theyāll block almost everything. Only times that they wonāt block is when you out prioritize them on a move or hit them in an open frame (or throw them).
Iām fairly sure thatāll work with other EX games but I canāt say for sure.
Anyway I did test it out and that training mode trick does work on SFEX2P, but not on SFEX+a (did not find a way for the computer to control the dummy character in training mode).
In other news⦠actually not much else lol. Cept for a couple vids in the works that I havenāt really gotten around to finishing :-.
Finally my āAll About SFEXā came in today, looking through it, it would appear as though C.Jack has the quickest GB coming in at 24 start up frames (Blair had 27 start up frames, and the average of them is about 28-30).
I heard that the Koreans play EX2+ harcore! Actually it seems like this game is played on a high competitive level everywhere else but the US! If they had a world EX2 tournament in Korea or China Iād go just because EX is that good!!
Well there was the place in HK that I told you about but I think that arcade closed down, so heh. Hey perhaps at Evo a lil side EX2 tournament will get the word out in other countries like China and Korea that theres an EX2+ tournament in the USA and theyāll come
I was actually thinking of holding an EX tournament around here, only problem is would be a location and how Iād get enough money for a pot so people will deem it worth while to travel a bit to get to the tournament.
In corner (mid screen may work but havenāt tried that out yet).
tatsumaki X4 (Short, Forward, Forward, Roundhouse), standing jab (timing is difficult on that), to Tatsumaki X4 (short, short, short, roundhouse), repeat from standing jab.
Iāve gotten it to work up to 19 hits so far, so it should be ok.
Mid screen may or may not work, the standing jab will hit but itāll hit the opponents back, so the tatsumaki would also hit the opponents back. Which may or may not push them out of range.
