Yeah, I posted a link to losers roleplaying D&D in the woods, it apparently upset someone. Not sure where Pichu is, he made those awesome EX2 vids, haven’t seen him since, over a year now. Those Ryu combos were ok, I think Shinobi had better ones, and Pichus were even better. This vid was ok, but like I said, that shit is WAY old.

as for the stages, do you mean the number of stages you go through til you beat the game?

Lets see, Canyon, forest, oriental town, another forest (I’m not sure if they’re the same forest or not), Sagats one, and the two Bison stages (one lighted the other dark).

My friend, I had that godly vid on my comp but I recently reformatted and it is now gone. If anyone can round up the old shinobi vids and evilkairi ones to compair I would be nice.

RIP Evilkairi= A killer EX player died recently. He was one of the best EX3 players along with Jester or “skeet”:lol: (too good) and the other neoav cats.

He was damn good and started a lot of people onto the game including myself. He got me to look past the lack of excels and find a whole new game.

Pichus vids were top notch but let us not forgewt they were just fragmened rips of maniacs. As is this new one but his looked a lot more “fresh” in the finishes and links. That V.Rosso combos at the end is something I never knew as of yet. But those Shadow combos are as old as the game.:lol:

i’ll be done with my ex3 vid by summer, and i have some guile stuff in mind. i’m not gonna post any of it as i dont want to give it away, this is just kind of a heads up that some ex3 guile combos are coming. and incase your wondering why i’m waiting untill summer, its a combination of thats when i’ll have the money for a capture card and i am taking my time on this vid to make it as good as i can.

So everyone can confirm that EX3 only has 7 or 8 stages, none of which are outdoor night stages? No secret stages?

well, only secret stages i can think of, but i’m not sure of, are bison’s and sagats. i think you need to unlock them to access their stages. as for out door night time, there are none that i have seen, all the out door ones are day time.

I’ll be damn! It just so happens that my arcade has Street Fighter EX2 Plus, of all games! Too bad I can’t find the PSX version anywhere.

Anyway, does anyone know of some good Ken combos?

well, ken has some good juggles, but ken’s specialty isnt exactly long damaging combos imo. here is a run down-

links- s.lpX2; c.mp->c.mk, c.lp->c.lk

cross ups- i think that j.mk will cross up(it does in every other game ken is in), and i’m pretty sure that j.hp does as well

cancels(that are worth it)- hadoukenXXshoryu reppa; tatsumakiXXshipu jinrai kyaku, cancel, juggle with something; shoryukenXXshinryuken

combos- j.hp, c.mp, c.mk, shoryukenXXshinryuken; j.hk, s.lpX2, shoryu reppa; cross up j.mk, c.lp, c.lk, tatsumaiXXshipu jinrai kyaku, cancel, c.lp, hadoukenXXshipu jinrai kyaku, cancel, shoryukenXXshinryuken

excels- multiple fierces/roundhouses(good damage), tatsumaki(good damge and gets you close to the opponent, repeat(its simple, but it works like a charm)

that should be enough to get you started

Jump HK, crouch MP, crouch MK, Hurricane Kick, QCBx2+kick, cancel QCB+kick, HP Dragon Punch, ShoReppa, ShinRyuKen.

Jump HK, crouch MP, crouch MK, Hadouken, ShoReppa, QCBx2+kick, cancel, HP Dragon Punch, ShinRyuKen.

I’m not too original with excels, check some vids or ask COL Guile for some good ones.

Ken=COLGUILE’s character of choice in the fresh days of EX. I always used to flash that peace sign when he did it. But so no one could see.

Keh has a super solely didicated to excel set ups. QCB+QCB+k and QCB+K cancels.

As for excels the “classic” one for him would be:

Jump in heavy(anything), crouching mediun punchX2, QCB+k, QCB+QCB+K, Cancel(QCB+K), Crouching medium punch or standing jabX2, Excel(in air),(Here you can mix it up. Normally I try to do something flashy for the crowd but luckly this combo does good damage since it is ground-air-ground), in air Jumping light punch, heavy kick, medium kick, medium punch, light kick, heavy kick, half second pause, heavy hurricane kick…this should “pop” your opponent in the air long enough for you to land, and contiune with either a super(wastefull) or triple jab into another excel.

Non-excel kickass colguile special:

Jump in heavy punch X2, Hurricane kick(heavy) in air, crouching medium punch, crouching medium kick, hurricane kick (heavy), you sometimes, depending on the character size, can sneek in a a double crouching jab into a shoryuken and THEN a QCB+QCB+K, but that is not always the case. It can be best worked on characters like bison, hayate and garuda QCB+QCB+k, Cancel, Crouching medium punch you can use heavy if you can cancel fast enough with out hitting the HP button, Medium shoryuken, Shinryuken.

I miss the EX glory days… Greatest game in the world.
