So the bar at the top goes from start up, active, and recovery.
So the standing MP/Strong has a start up of 7 frames, active of 5 frames and recovery of 14 frames.
The information to the right of the animation is
Base Damage
Special Cancelable
Super bar gained whiff/blocked/hit
knockdown or not
how you can block it (standing or crouching).
Page 182 has the information on hit and block stun which if I can recall goes like this
light attack (hit/block)
medium attack (hit/block)
hard attack (hit/block)
projectile (hit/block)
special moves (hit/block)
super multihit (hit/block)
super single hit (hit/block)
Based on what I remember from doing macro combos the hit freeze is around 2-3 frames. But its been a while. If only I could get more of that book translated more information might be available. but keep up the good work.
How do you set up the D.Dark crossup in SFEX2+? It seems to be random a whole lot of the time.
After wire, delayed j.back rh and asap j.forward fierce, land and kara explosive to get the bomb over/on the body. It just seems extremely random.
From what I experimented with it, it came down to which frame you karaed the low attack, and how quickly you were able to do it after landing from the j.forward fierce.
Interesting. An EX thread that isnāt dead. Iāve been googling stuff on Ex2 and getting nowhere. ShinjiGohan - Could you conjure up/show me a tier list of sorts (with minor reasonings, would be great) for Ex2? I prefer it to Ex3 because I can run it on emulator and I dislike team fighters
probably with a gameshark code but I donāt know what that code is.
@Kikoken_Pls
EX2 plus or regular EX2? I have no idea for regular EX2 there havenāt been enough matches to really figure that out. EX2 plus is easier to see based on a-cho videos, combo videos and the such. Though nothing too concrete. Youāve got your characters with infinites like Rosso and Chunli. Characters with good crossups like Rosso, Bison, D.Dark. Characters with good mixups like Sharon and hokuto, characters with good space control like Area, Rosso and Ryu. Characters with quick easy damage like Bison, Garuda. And characters with good juggling potiental like Dhalsim, Hokuto, and nanase.
Ex2plus. I also play Ex3 but I have a lot less access to it.
From what Iāve seen, Rosso looks like the best character but I did spend a long time watching one guyās channel last night and he clearly mained Rosso. I also stumbled upon your channel and watched some ex3 casuals. I didnāt know Rosso had an infinite but he has a really cool wakeup pressure crossup game. Iām not too fond of ex2 Chun Li. I might go for Rosso, heās pretty dapper.
Maybe certain moves send them into a juggle state, while juggle mode has them in a permanent one when you hit them so you can practice some juggles. I dunno. Not 100%
Old farts getting back into the game + SF4/Tekken/Blazblue guys trying out the game. Mighthave a mini tourney this Sunday
Weird⦠I think thereās a problem with the PS1 loading in 2/3 rounds, so they set it to 3/5 and just jumped back to menu whenever someone won 2 rounds
If his zoning is as in EX3, i doubt it ( i dont play/like EX2). His tiger shots have mad recovery, and his height makes him victim of crazy ambiguous crossups and combos.
Anybody up for playing SFEX2+ online through ePSXe + P2P Kaillera? I tested it out with a friend and it works pretty well for the most part. It was my first time really getting to play a EX game with someone else and it was pretty fun, I am digging Bison quite a bit in this game and Iāve never been a Bison player before.
