well I know jester used to be able to do the chunli infinite for several loops without turbo or macros (he doesn’t have controllers that can do that). That said, even he can’t do it consistently in matches. Just for the few times that he made a combo video of it in EX3. though from what I’ve macros for my emotional flow video, I’d almost say that its easier in EX3 since I was able to get all the cancelable normals to combo into the lightning kick but had trouble using turbo in EX1 and EX2+.

For blair and chun in EX1. From what I hear Blair was one of the few character that could semi counter gief thus rated high. But thats based solely on the zangief match up. And chun li, well he gave mine and josh’s zangief’s trouble. But neither of us are real good with zangief so that might have had something to do with it.

why not just record it in pxm and then use a capture program?

some captures can be found here so i don’t it requires the 2 stream sync

Thank you for your help C.LI… :wgrin: I Thought That some shortcut existed but I right now see that issue is by rapidity. I will begin to practice.

There are the infinity’s some videos here. Both are as you mention C.LI…

Quick question, does anyone happen to know the instant unlock methods for Kairi and Shadowgeist for the arcade version of EX2 Plus? For regular EX2 there’s codes you can input in the service menu to unlock Kairi + Shadowgeist, and Nanase + Garuda. Can’t find any codes documented for Plus, though.[LIST]

to my knowledge there isn’t. I had to keep my board on for like a month to get all the unlocks.

that’s what I was afraid of :frowning: ah well, thanks

I’ve been getting some video responses for my SFEX survival videos by someone playing SFEX on an emulator.

good player, though I wished he didn’t use infinite supers in EX2 and EX2+. At least the EX+ videos are legit.

I’ll post EX1 and 3 matches in the future; not sure about EX2 Plus as every place that sells them seems to have them overpriced for some reason.

I really enjoyed Street Fighter EX. There’s just something about the simply rendered polygonal characters that makes it a more attractive game than the sequels. The artwork is clean and sharp, giving the game a striking look not far removed from the film Tron. That look is lost in the sequel and especially EX 3, which tried to compete with other turn of the century fighters and failed miserably in the attempt.

There was a game that Arika had developed for Namco, starring bit characters from Street Fighter EX. I believe it was called Fighting Layer… has anyone tried that? It was extremely similar to EX, but with a new cast of loonies replacing Capcom’s Street Fighter heroes. You could also fight giant knights, tigers, and great white sharks in the bonus stages!

I’m hoping to someday relive my PSX EX1 and EX2 memories on GGPO.

yeah it took me a while to get a legit copy of EX2+. Just so rare :(. ebay was my best friend though.

FL is ok, I have the game, though maybe if I had someone to play against my opinion would be better. but it feels like EX meets Rival school.

EX3 rocked though lol.

wishes there was an EX collection/athology with netplay on par with GGPO someday.

I know it personal pref, but I’ve always wondered why you prefereed EX3 over the other two; mind sharing that?

basically after playing EX3, EX1 feels too limited, and the damage is too high (not to mention several characters have infinites depending on which version of EX1 that your playing.

So compared to EX1, I prefer EX3.

For the EX2 and EX2P, I just dislike excels so much that its lower than EX1 on my list. and since EX3 is higher than EX1, ergo EX3 is my personal favorite.

Despite that though I own the entire series on both arcade boards and legit console discs (both USA and Japanese regions for console ports).

Yeah, I like EX3 the best too, since it’s more complete and fast.

I’m hoping that I can make it to the next MWC. I’d be glad to play you in FL.

Those blocky graphics are what made Tekken 2 and Rival Schools look so appealing to me, even to this day. Gone are the days where video games auctually looked like games.

Fuck that shit, man. Clipping textures were too damn abundant in those days, it made everything look fucking stupid. You should thank John Carmack for pretty much creating Shaders. Last gen looked good, the only thing I miss back from those days are 2D games. All the different 2D styles were awesome.

I’d rather have games look like games than some simulation which is more like a movie your watching rather than playing.

skullo 4 president !

Some days ago I buy SFex2+ for my PSone. Its very very enjoying game.
