Got Issue 2 and IT ROCKS!!! No Spoilers from me yet so everyone run out and buy it today!!!
can’t all my regulars are sold out…
Wow my store actually had 10 of em. First issure was so hot it sold out there so i guess they decided to put in a bigger shipment. Niiice. I went there yesterday and they had 2 issues of number one, but when I came back today they were both gone jeez.
i wen’t first day right after school (i got there about 4 pm) #2 sold out already everyware …now i guess have to get second printing…geez. what store do you go to man?. I usually go to nan’s
nm i got it out at comic zone in almeda mall they had 1 copy of each cover left but i couldn’t get all 3 so i just got cover A
I saw a chun li foil cover at almeda mall for $30.
I saw it to i was like wtf but i guess it was one of the limited 2000 ones.
I must say that I’m impressed with the artwork for SF. The fight sequences in issue one really captured the feeling of the SF anime(movie not tv). Ken’s kicks in particular impressed me the most as it was dead on to his sprite.
streetfighter 2 was much better than the first one but it seems like streetfighter can only get better and better.
What do the covers of issue #3 look like? We have #4. but no #3?
Dude i just raided my comic shop like 2 weeks ago to tell them to order more sf comics and I think it worked. That and me and my buddies hounded them by calling through phone also. We took turns so I guess it worked.
what store you go to?
graphic novel?
sorry if someone has already asked about this, I wasn’t patient enough to read through 23+ pages of forum.
Anyway here’s my question, is there a plan to make a graphic novel of the street fighter saga once the comic story line is completed…
AND any chance there will be an artbook showcasing the sketches and covers of the various artists participating ?
Bedrock Comics on fm 1960. What store do you guys go to cause I hear about nans or whatever, but never been there.
i hit up nan’s and third planet first but then i’ll go anywhere if they don’t have what i wan’t.
also is there a subscription plan available yet? are there plans for one (you know get one in the mail each month)
Image comics doesn’t do subcribttions. It’s one of the drawbacks to independant publishing. Personally I would’nt rather have another studio or publisher.
If your lucky you can have a local book shop hold the title for you. Most of the good ones I know of do it (not huge stores). I think you should at the very least be able to call your local store and have them pull an ish or two.

does anyone how to get a 1 page ad in an issue of a street fighter comic book?

also, i wanted to point out that i bought several copies of 0 and 1 and after going through them decided not to continue with this series. i simply didnt believe the quality of the artwork and storyline were up to par with other series. perhaps it’s simply too much of the same old thing. anyways, not trolling, just speaking my mind.
Return of Jahn Li
I can’t believe it - here I am doing my humdrum thang at Wall Street, a respectable member of the rat race, when I decide to duck into my local comic store due to rain. I see this Holo of Ken on the stands and I’m like WHAT?? I decide to give the series a try (they had a cheapo version of #2 and a 2nd printing of #1 there, bought em both) and I’m very pleased! It really brought back the memories of my SFII:CE days, taking quarters from the chumps out there for hours with Chun li, and facing down my nemesis, Dolphin Man, and his damn Guile-flash kick! I wonder if Dolphin Man still wears that stupid Miami Dolphins leather jacket out there somewhere. Anyhow, I just found out that there is a Holo of Chun Li for the #1 ish, so I’m off to EBay. I Googled Jo Chen and found this site, so thanks Udon for bringing me back to the SF fold. Long live Chun Li’s cheap flying knee!
Hey Jahn Li!
I am glad that you give our book a try and you like what you see! We will do our best to keep up the quality and not let you down!
