Hey guys, I never knew there was a thread for this cool game here on srk. I’m glad this thread isn’t in troll city (general discussion). But I’ll post up a nice big long post on my next post(s). This game is only getting better with all the new stuff being put out by sabertooth.
Yeah, I did, and I got lucky. The closest was only 30 minutes away from my place so it was all cool I picked up a Chun starter, 3 WW packs, and 8 SC3 packs. Can’t wait till SS and KoF come in!
You guys wanna see my guile deck that I’m using now? I think it’s a pretty sweet deck.

Some Gencon spoilers via members on STG that went:
Akuma, Ryu(Evil), and Cammy are confirmed future promos. Cammy will be awarded via the teach a buddy program.
There will be a SC3 Battle Box, Siegfried and a girl(I think Sophita) will be the focus.
The next SF set is gonna be really small <_<, with only 4 new chars(which I’m gonna speculate will be called “The New challengers” :P)
SS and KOF should be out by Dec. 1st.

Tell me what you guys think of it. And yes I’m willing to bet that the new street fighter expansion is gonna have fei long, dee jay, cammy and t hawk. Should be really awesome when it comes out. Also the soul calibur battle box is gonna have siegfried and sophitia.
Seems to be a really decent Guile you got there Kunio(sorry for the late response) my opinion is to main deck the dog tags(there’s a wicked combo on the official ufs forums with the tags, which could work much better for your deck)
So this game is a combinatin of SF and sc? it looks really cool and i’m taking a hiatus from magic so what should i start out with?
Also i’m a lil confused as to how connected sc and sf are. Like are they 2 seperate card games or all part of the same game so u can mix n match sf cards with sc cards in the same deck?
How do i get ahold of some Guile cards? Someone mentioned that he was a promo? Was it packaged in a magazine or something?
What’s the difference between Guile 55 and Guile 56? Looks like the same card with different artwork.
O.Zoolander: Think of it as Vs. Different Franchises, one central game system. Get a starter and a couple of boosters, mostly everyone’s really decent, just avoid the Ryu and Chun Li starters for now, Chun’s really weak, and Ryu’s just average right now. Starter Ken used to be uber cheese with his Maelstrom Divide combo, but he’s been neutered(they still haven’t taken care of promo Zasalamel >_>)
Majestros: Guile and his attacks can be found in the World Warriors expansion. But for the promo Guile, just attend a tourney at your local card store, he’s one of 12 promos randomly given out as prizes.

EDIT: according to a post in this thread at the Sabertooth Games forums, the SNK expansion for UFS will have some of the characters in dedicated Starter Decks and some available only in Booster Packs (similar to the way the 1st installments of SF and SCIII were handled when UFS launched):

Good choices for the Starter Decks, IMO, with STG going for 2 of the most recognized characters from KOF and SS. Booster sales should be decent, too, with other popular characters (Iori, Kyo, Hanzo, Nakoruru) pushing them.
