And the ultimate conversation in BS was when I was using Denjin Ryu (as if it were cheap in the 1st place) and one of my non-scrubs started arguing with the 2 scrubs. It went like this.

Scrub 2: Nah dont worry about it dude he’s just playing to win.
Non-scrub: What? Denjin Ryu aint unstoppable. Just parry that shit.
Scrub: Dont tell me how to play. I dont gotta parry SHIT!!! It aint my style.
Scrub 2: nah he’s just trying to get you to play like THEM now.
Non-scrub: Well what the fuck?! your just gonna sit there and take the all that massive damage.
Scrubs: Yeah thats why it’s cheap. Theres no skill in that.
Me: We’re playing SF:3 3s. Not some fake game with made up rules. We’re playing to get better. We’re playing as if we were at Evo or some other big tournament. We’re trying to master high level play.
Scrub 2: yeah but out of all the people at Evo you wouldnt be playing against Jeremy (non-scrub guy).

They also diss tick throws, cross ups, parrying, Genei-Jin, corner traps and shippu-jinrai. The sad thing is that the guy that think is good (decent, but doesnt throw) agrees with them about half of that shit and offered me 20 bucks if I could win a tournament without throws or Yun.:rolleyes:

I have to hear the most BS when I’m playing 3s. Or ANY fighting game for that matter.

Nah I was refering to some other guys, but yeah I did mean Jpop in the end about how he agrees about the whole throwing/Genei-Jin thing.

Genei-jin isnt’ broken when you give it to a character whos mediocre without it. Sure if you gave it to Ken and named it Kenei-Jin it would be broken. Yeah Yun is top tier, but it’s not like he’s easy to pick up compared to Ken or chun. Yun is unreliable in the wrong hands. You’ve gotta commit to Yun because he isnt the kind of character you use as a secondary character.
