It was a really big disappointment that the stream was such poor quality and was subsequently turned off altogether. Does anyone know what the issue was? I’m guessing Jake’s didn’t have enough bandwidth to support the stream, or there was a really weak wifi signal: I heard that they weren’t actually using a connection from Jake’s and were just piggybacking on a weak wireless network somewhere in the area.
I know that getting a stream working wasn’t the number one priority, but it would have been nice for all the people not in the western US to be able to watch last night. From what little I could see and hear, it seemed like a good event.

I must say, Barfights was the shit. Major props to gootecks and everyone else for putting this together. Such a great night, my voice and the rest of the Fresno crew that went were pretty much gone after all the shouting and yelling we did from the bar.
So hype. Great Food, Great matches, Alcohol, almost too much.
And us stopping at FFA on the way back was just the icing on the cake.

I’m sure it was an cool event, but with all the hype leading up to it to have the live stream not work was kind of a downer… maybe next time. It’s great that there are some vids up on youtube, anyway.
