Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max

While, as I said, I don’t see much reason for them to do it, it does kinda make sense. Sony presumably loses money on sales of PSPs anyway, seeing as that’s how it tends to work for all games hardware; the profits are in sales of software, and allowing the PS3 to play PSP games means a greater installed user base to shift that software to.

the new tag feature is reason enough to get this baby.
The d-pad too :]

If I preorder now I still get the dpad, I hope?

I don’t know it actually might help the PSP if you can play the games both on the go and at home. Also Nintendo did release the Game Boy Player for GC not long after the GBA or more percisely very close to the time the GBA SP were released.

Drawing Capcom sent to Arcadia Magazine for the New Year for this game. I think the artist is Daigo Ikeno.

Anyone have a link to where I can pre order this off of NCSX? I can’t find it on the website. Thanks.

EDIT: If not NCSX, does anyone know if Play-Asia or Lik-Sang are offering the d-pad with pre-orders as well?

…WTF?! O_o

Yeah, Ryu’s getting a spanking, lol!

well I’ve played it for a bit now and it’s really tricky with the analoge nub, and fricking impossible on the d-pad. Unfortunately we don’t have the clip-on d-pad thing which is a shame. Supers are deadly to get out and cause you’re wiggling away at it the PSP goes all over the place.

It is huge though - in the number of modes, characters and isms (no J-ism though arf!). If the d-pad thing works then it will be awesome - without it you’ll not be able to get enough out of it apart from a lot of fudge.

Why Japan Why?!

i was wondering cause i noticed he’s the art director for dmc3 is daigo ikana the same daigo that alot of players obsess about?

Yeah it’s the same Daigo Ikeno. He’s worked on SF, DS, and all of the Devil May Cry games. If you’ve seen any Devil May Cry artwork chances are he did it, including character designs too. Recently he did one of the covers to the hardcover SF Eternal Challenge book in the US. The Raw issue of SF2 # 1 comic book reveals that he practices Capoiera too.

which is why like me he prefers to play fighting games to bring out originality in fights which is why its so good to watch them

i cant stand doing the same thing all the time, what attracted me to fighting games was visual, when people say it aint art you cant really say that to be honest creating anything out of anything is art full stop.

Is there an infrastucture mode or just ad-hoc when playing wi-fi games?

ok…er perhaps i got a faulty psp BUT i can get the moves out on DS chronicles and combos too. I have a white psp but my cousin and our good friend both have black psp’s, i have noticed that their d pad and buttons are alot more sunken in on their black (U.K) psp’s compared to my white one. my d pad is twice as high as theirs is…perhaps this is an issue with black psp’s (which would be 99% of them).

if you want i could take pictures to show you

ps…i can not do dp’s or fireballs on 1 player side on their black psp’s but i can do it on 2 player side.

Just ad-hoc, which I can’t try out cause there’s only one disc, bah!

Buckets of modes though and the Dramatic battles! And Reverse Dramatic battles - 2 against you, owwww.

Daz - I can get all of the moves and combos out in DS Chronicles too, I have a black one that I got the first week it was out. Some of the characters I picked up quickly(Morrigan, Demitri) for other ones I had to practice(Donovan, Victor, etc). For fighters I always play with Arcade sticks, so it’s always difficult with me to play on handhelds, always have to get re-used to everything and practice, practice, practice. But that’s just me.

Reverse Dramatic Battles!! Cool.

oh ok:wonder: , well everything is hunky dorry then…erm sano have i played you on xbox live? (my tag s were unikronn/daztastic and now dr d hyper funk.

No, the Daigo players obsess over is Daigo Umehara.

I think so. Dr d hyper funk sounds familiar to me. My gamertag is SRKSANO. Add me to your friends list.
