If you’re going to start with anything modding the original fighters with their CPS2 voices and sound fx should be a top priority.
I added a comment to your first tutorial, but I’ll say it here too.
You do NOT want to replace any original files for SFIV. It’s not like Counter-Strike where you can safely mess with files without consequence. What if you decided to go back to the original voice files? You don’t have them! You’re going to have to have someone send them to you or reinstall the game.
You should slightly change the name of the original files, like making it “~RYU_E.csb” or “(og) RYU_E.csb”. Something you’ll recognize as the originals. This way, you can go ahead and mess with the stuff you want to, but have the option to easily switch back.
Have you even watched the video? That is exactly what I do. Plus, you can also see that I have a Chara Copy dir;)

I think you can;) I don’t remember where the announcer files are, but I’ll go check and post it here.
EDIT: Ok, found some of them. It’s not the announcer’s in-game commentary, it’s his start and finish phrases, like “KO”, “Fight”, “Perfect”, that sort of stuff, and yes, you can edit them, same procedure;) Just tried it and it works just fine!
The file is under “C:\Program Files\CAPCOM\STREETFIGHTERIV\Battle\System”, and is named “BTL_CMN.csb”.
I’ll keep looking for the narration part. I think I saw it posted somewhere, but cannot remember where. If anyone knows, please do post it here.

Hmm ? You mean how I get these rips or what voice customize packs I’m using ?
I got the sounds from ripping from an episode and so far the Cartoon Bison pack is the only one I have on that’s custom…
The next update will come soon , but don’t think there will be a release after this next one , since I’m planning on having almost everything done except for having SOME getting hurt voices ( Which imo it sounds similar to the Cartoon Bison )…

I’d love to get the CVS2 announcer (Or Tekken 5 announcer for my music pack :O). I hope cpk is disassembled soon!
In the meantime, I’d recommend if anyone’s feeling a bit frisky, to try a boxer voice mod with Dudley perhaps?
I’m not familiar with “Cartoon Bison”, that’s why I’m asking;)
