Street Fighter 4 Sucks - Rageaholic

not defending the guy’s video, but he does play quite a good Vega - in other SF games. I’ve yet to see him on SF4, but faced him a few times in HDR. We both play Vega, so that’s a stupid matchup in itself. Also, the guy talked mad smack over the mic whenever he was kicking my ass. However, when it was the other way around he was pretty quiet. I do remember him spewing the line, “what is this, shitty Vega day?” lol. quality.

He’ll change his tune when Vega gets buffed up in Dash. Until then, he can branch out and try some other characters. Be a pro, not a gimmick.

Spitting out bad analogies is the laziest form of humor on the planet.

This guy is mad funny…but I played him before I got my RROD. I beat him but he is a decent player. I won 4-0 and I caught him with the Kara Raging Demon 2 times and 1 Ultra RD. But he is a funny guy and have some points but SFIV is by far the best SF game Capcom ever made.

Honestly not thread worthy since he is really craving for attention. Bashing 3s and SFIV too much hate imo.

I’ve heard of one or the other or just SF in general.

Btw Pherai = <3

How about everyone stop trying to junior mod every thread that pops up, especially within the first reply to the OP (glancing over at 09)? If the topic is dumb, it will die with or without you there to give directions. Thanks!

Oh yeah, he is at least correct about one thing: SF4 is too fucking slow. ST speed please.

Edit: Another plus, I like how when he swaps from live footage to voice over, he sounds like he is on done in an extreme nasal with 1930’s American celebrity accent ooooold time radioooo…end accent.

Rambling self-aware-of-how-witty-it-thinks-it-is blog article writing does not make for great spoken dialogue btw.

I’m not going to watch the video but I’m sure I would agree with everything he said.

I felt so embarrassed for him.

His long winded attempts at colorful humor were so painful to sit through.

I did too untill he went on about how 3rd Strike was bad.

lol i know who this guy is lol

We are taking over!! Denjin misses you too :lovin:

aye fuck his ass up in dat madden

please shut the fuck up with your nonsense.

Couldn’t make it past 1 minute in. Most of it sounded like WAAAAHH WAAAAHH WAAAAHHHH

wake me up when he stops making shitty analogies.

funny, he actually addresses that train of thought in the game as to why people keep playing it, because they get beat, and told to man the fuck up and try harder, when in reality, there is only so much you can do before you have to realize its not you, its the game. sf4 is straight. it aint of interest to me really at all, and most people play it because its online, and there is tons of comp, not because its the uber best thing ever. sf will do what it did before, release tons of version of itself, and then create another one that plays nothing like any of the previous ones. LOL! but i guess you could argue it keeps it fresh.

without arguing technicalities. my biggest gripe is that they had forever to create the ultimate cast, the ultimate gameplay system, the ultimate online experience, and when it comes down to it, out of what i feel they could have potentially made this game to be, they failed extremely hard in this first version of sf4. im not saying the game is unplayable, thats a bit much, i, like anyone here would agree, and has been talked about a million times over, but since i never really commented then, i will comment now. its not that sf4 is horrid, its just that after such a long break, and so much previous shit to go off of, from net play to game play, and what people want, this just seems like a pretty half ass job. going strictly off the arcade release, did they look back at the game and really think, this shit is mad solid. lol. but again, this is a business of making money, so maybe we just get to get spoon fed for the next 2-3 years. oh well.

So just because this game Isn’t as fast as other shitty fighters / halo it’s not good? Oh and vega sucks. This guy just proved he has no skill / patience.

I think it’s unfair to say they half assed. They worked to make (imo) a great system and a moderately balanced roster. The graphics are alright and the modes are a little more than standard.

I think the problem with sf4 is not an execution thing, it’s just not enough new material to people like us on this forum who have played sf2 to death. Its extremely similiar, whichis just not enough after 10 years

PS- No one ever changes balance in between arcade and console because the hardcore arcade players wouldnt support it

Hey, I didn’t know that guy had two accounts on SRK! He gets bashed on for having his own opinion and people do the same exact thing and think they did better. Oh the irony.

I disagree. I think that, given the state of the fighting game scene, Capcom did exactly what it needed to. It simplified and reverted back to what people remembered back when they played fighting games. They made it more accessible. And they did a good job of all this, because people bought it and are STILL playing it. It lead to more people playing fighting games, which is good for everyone here.
