target combo xx SA3
c.lk, c.lp, c.lk, xx SA3
c.mk xx shoryu
That’s all you need with him to get yourself started…
then as time moves, you’ll get the axe kick link to SA3, the double DP combo… and you’ve pretty much got Ken down.

I guess after those basics, he’ll have to work on stand far strong > SA3 & Cr. strong > SA3.
After that, learn to reverse shotos’ blocked cr. forward =D

With Ken I find the far S.MP link into SA3 pretty useful. A solid way to punish from a distance, pretty easy if you piano key too.

i thought you could have gill playable in tournaments if you wanted to(seeing as you can ban any character from play in tournament mode)

No. Gill is banned from both tournneys and ranked matches. Seth Killian and Derek Neal answered that in today’s Q&A for 1up. The link is on SRK’s front page.
Not bring able to use Gill in a tournament mode is bullshit. I’m buying Rumble Massage instead.

Gill is the kind of character that would only be fun using in Gill mirrors during player matches. Which is what I intend to do.
Really? I still think that would be bad. I believe Gill can still 100% Gill starting without any meter. I think the starting combo builds that meter. Am I wrong?

Well…PS3s are region free, so if you have JP PS3 game it’ll run on your PS3 with no problems at all.
360 however has better online netcode than PS3s.
