I still cant believe they havent made a 2P Training mode for online. Just so you can go and figure things out with a friend without having a round or time limit. A lab partner would be pretty useful sometimes.

I would enter but its US only which kind of sucks. Also it would take a lot of effort not to just come out with something generic looking just because thats how Laus pieces are. Shame really, I like comps like that sometimes.

I had that game for two months. I’m surprised it lasted that long in my house. I had NO fun with MvC3. Lots of fun with Wesker and Doom, but no one else.

Ha thats about the same time that I had it. I got rid of it because it had such bad netcode and then bought MK9 instead so I just gave up and went back to SSF4 and 3S after that.

True, using original material would be easier… I like some of Lau’s character portraits, not all. Detail is amazing, but some poses like Dudley’s and Chun’s are uninspiring imho.

They did say “Summer Release.” Technically, that means they have until August 31st. I’m betting that they release it soon after EVO though.

Might as well be August 24 or 31 because of Xbox Live’s Summer of Arcade promo (3rd Strike could have been better than any one of those games that ain’t Bastion, From Dust, or Toy Soldiers) ends on August 17 and I guess Capcom wants to release it ASAP for both consoles simultaneously.

I am leaning towards the 24 due to the Penny Arcade Expo 3rd Strike contest prize of getting 3SOE (probably a code to redeem).

Technically “Summer” happens twice in a year. It could be released at Christmas and it would still be summer in the southern hemisphere. But NH Summer is probably what they meant so yeh end of August probably is the most likely time.
