It was Rock and 2 others, and whoever the others were kept cutting him off and saying all kinds of shit that pretty much killed all the hype and fun that is his commentary. I think it was Keits and Josh The Doctor or somethin.
Edit: Or am I thinking 2009? I think Im thinking 2009.
Nice, I like it. Up to about 1 min 30 is pretty boring but it picks up pretty nicely after that. I love this one!
I never really pay any proper attention to the music when Im fighting. I should really check some more out when Im not zoned in on the game. Whats the very best 3S theme out of all the characters? Any themes of Guile epicness?
These Stan Lau pics are just commecial concept paintings. I think Stan Lau is clearly a very good concept artist but its too tidy and generic. I really wouldve liked to see some SF artwork with some Ben Templesmith or Mike Mignola degree of personality.
In fact, it couldve been pretty cool if they could have got the community to draw the pics and picked the best ones for each character. The pics and variety of styles wouldve been awesome and they could have had loads of talented artists contribute rather than just 1 artist who is accurate and tidy but expresses little personality in the work. Ah well, too late now.
I know, dude. Totally not big enoughâŚand I used to hate her thighs for ages!
His works are great in the sense that theyâre polished and clean, but thereâs no personality in any of them. The poses are very generic, and itâs like the artist tried the best he could to FORCE the bare minimum of each charactersâ characteristics into each picture. Itâs a shame, because Iâve seen some of his other promotional works for the game and they look great.
BullDancer: His Q is probably the biggest disappointment in my opinion. Ikenoâs version was way better just for the simple pose alone. This one just screams too much effort.
Whatâs with the artist and capcomâs push for the pseudo-3D look? I think the artist is really talented, but it is obvious that they are repackaging, rebranding the game with artwork that really doesnât go with the game. As if the concept is completely detached from an understanding of the game and what makes it cool when you play it. It really has that MVC3 feel to it. I just wish they could have made some timeless gems of artwork that improved on the original concepts instead of pandering to a new crowd with whatâs hot this year⌠Oh well, whatever sells more copies I guessâŚ
The approach in his artwork is fine, in my opinion. Itâs kind of a modernized take on Ikenoâs 3S works and they look decent enough
Itâs just the artist clearly doesnât know shit about the characters and you can see it in these bland and ridiculous poses. I was a fan of Udonâs Street Fighter comics because itâs clear the artists all felt some sort of connection between the characters, and you could see it in their art. This guy was probably just hired to draw for 3S:OE because they loved his super-awesome Chun-Li pic that was posted on DA a while back.
I actually did a search for some 3S fan art and found a whole collection on iplaywinners site. There were some pretty amazing pieces of Falcoon work under the fan art section. Wouldve been awesome to see some pics like those in the game. Definitely worth checking out.
also this has to be one of the most epic pieces of art for Twelve that you will ever see:
Clearly these people had better ideas with the characters individual personalities and movesets and it comes out in the art styles and characters expressions and stances.
That doesnât mean weâre obligated to like the artwork.
MvC2 has a lot of dedicated players and fans, but they wouldnât be changing the songs if they felt they had to bear through the actual soundtrack.
See, this is what Iâm talking about. Falcoonâs art style probably doesnât fit too well with 3S, but itâs clear he knows the characters heâs drawing and you can see a lot of personality in them.
