I was thinking that Capcom should make a prequel game with the following characters:
young Bison
young Sagat
young Gouken
young Akuma
young Gen
young Dhalsim
young Oro with both arms (credit to blufang)
Dan’s Dad (http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/Go_Hibiki)
[S]Blanka before being turned into Blanka[/S] Movie Canon is terrible
Charlie and Guile’s Drill Instructor/Sargent
Haggar

Geki (the ninja from sf1, credit to lordfenrir)

Would be so awesome. What year do you imagine it taking place? 1970s? 80s? What are some other prequel character ideas?

Young Rose doesn’t work as she was only born after Dictator got mad powerful.
Some crap about he expelled the Soul Power from his body to become even more evil (with 100% psycho power now),
and Rose then manifested as the physical representation of that very Soul Power.
She’s like 5 years old in SF4 or something afaik.

I was just thinking about this idea the other day, with everyone named above AND with Goutetsu as a boss! :slight_smile: Would be a great game! Maybe even find a way of working Urien into it to tie things together with 3S more?

A SF game without old school characters Ryu/Ken (and some others) can not succeed …
I am not saying this only cause i main ryu because i am not character loyal at all i can switch anytime if i need/want ( besides him i main cammy and experiment a lil bit with akuma,sagat,e.ryu and fei long )
i am just saying RYU is the SF icon and there can be no sf game without him and his buddies … puting the game in the 80’s or 70’s would make no sense cause hed be just a verry young kid or wouldnt exist at all

Just make the age tekken style.

If you look at tekken over the years, tekken 4 really started it. Look at paul and Heihachis portraits. Hell paul even took his hair down.

Things just need a change in the art department. Whys sakura still a school gear since alpha in ae? Retarded.

Third strikes portraits suggested ryu and ken at least aged a bit and looked more mature.

Hire snk to draw sprites.
