Jarim - don’t wanna burst your bubble, but expect failure. Are you good at any other time of game other than fighting? Usually if you wanna lead a crew, you should be good at something. I watched a gameplay vid of yours…you need a lot of work in Street Fighter. Consider joining a crew before starting your own - that’s my advice.
Why do you want to start a straight-edge gaming group? What about alcohol and drugs are so bad that a gaming community would be hurt by them? I don’t see what would be different between a normal gaming group/clan and a straight edge one.
If you drink or smoke, it’s a personal choice. I don’t think a gaming clan should be classified by your personal life.
Anywho, good luck with finding people. I’m not straight edge, I can’t help you Jarim. I’ll dedicate the next bowl I smoke to you, though.

My thought on making this group was to have a positive vide, diffrent enviroment and a diffrent group, but thats i am not doing Straight Edge Gamers any more decided that it should be about gaming and nothing else.

I don’t understand why some of the straight edge community feels the need to dissociate from people who drink/smoke etc. It’s fair to say that sometime alcohol/drug use is associated with stupid behavior or poor decision making, but this is generally not the case. It’s a good lifestyle but there is no need to segregate yourselves from the rest of the gaming community. Have a beer and some bud every now and again, it’ll do ya some good.

First let me say that once i put this thread out there, I found out i am not straight edge. Yes I am sober but I have nothing to do with being straight edge. Thats why I wont be doing any thing with straight edge and just doing a normal SF4 Crew
So what is the point to smoke if your not going to get high?
When you smoke smoke (regularly) one bowl doesn’t do much other than relax you and put you in a good mood.
