We’re pleased to announce that the Gamecenter in San Mateo will host a Nor Cal ST GAMES event on April 13th!

The event will be streamed by Mizuki @ http://www.twitch.tv/thenipahhut

The top eight finishers will earn ST GAMES points that will be applied at EVO.

1st – 5 points
2nd – 4 points
3rd – 3 points
4th – 2 points
5th – 7th – 1 point

The player with the most points at the conclusion of the ST GAMES at EVO will become the 2013 ST GAMES CHAMPION!

Vega + Dee Jay: awesome all around team

Do I need the S+ tier registration to play? Or can I just get the S tier one?

EVO Registration:

A-Tier (Event Pass) $20 (choose this if you are only planning on competitng in The ST Games.)
S-Tier (Premium Pass) $40 (if you also want to watch the EVO Finals on Sunday.)
S+ Tier (Competitor’s Pass) $50 (if you are also competiting in any of the official EVO games.)

Each ST Games tournament will be $10 to enter ($40 total).

Note: Early Bird registration ends tonight! (Make sure you register before Sunday, April. 7th at 11:59pm PST to save $20)

The ST GAMES “Qualifiers” are starting to heat up now!

This coming weekend, we will have the Nor Cal tournament at GameCenter and the tournament at Texas Showdown.

The following week, Civil War will be running all four ST GAMES formats just like what will be happening at EVO.

We will also be announcing the details for The Super Arcade ST GAMES tournament soon as well.

Texas Showdown MAY be streamed with commentary from Ultradavid and James Chen but I don’t have any details on it (if it’s just top 4/8 etc.)

I haven’t heard anything about Civil War being streamed. I don’t believe it will be.

I’m pretty certain the Super Arcade tournament will be streamed.

Edit: The Nor Cal tournament will be streamed by Mizuki.

O.Ken beats all characters in his tier, but (maybe) O.Sim. IMHO, he should join Ryu, DJ and the others at tier 3.
