just a side note on the storm ground infinate sj dash d/f hk repeat. jadon brown discovered that it’s easier to use your thumb on the hk instead of sliding. just think of it as the mags sj lk infinate but instead of keeping your thumb on the lk you keep it on the hk…

I don’t play storm as much as i use to, but the infinite i do is:
Jump in HP, super lk, [ad forward lk, mk, hp, hk - land,] super jump lk, repeat. You can omit the hk on most characters, but it works on almost all mid rage characters.
Basically, any time you and a jump in HP or HK, you can start almost all of her ground infinites. Same thing on sentinel, any time you land a jump in hard attack, you can go into the infinite.
Enigma - That set up works but storms j.lk doesn’t have placement or position qualities that allow you to attack your opponent anfter landing. What exactly are trying with that combo?

man…i have so muck problems doing infinites with storm or any other character…i superjump and throw out the shorts but when she lands and i try to jump again it doesnt combo…someone tell me why…and what am i doin wrong??? shit…i cant do none of magneto’s either!!
if you actually played MvC2 then ud see that she tri-jumps with HK to rushdown anyone, its so fast most people dont have time to switch blocking positions because she tri-jumps so fast. a good mixup trick is if they’re blocking low hit em with a c.lk then tri-jump with HK imediately, most of the time they dont expect to block high so u can just start the infinite
edit: this in theory is storms easiest infinite but to be able to actually tri-jump enough times quickly and perfectly takes a LOT of practice and if you have less than perfect sticks it makes it really hard.

I think lp is faster, but lk seems easier, and has a little more range, I think.

I thought I was the only one who noticed, anyways I don’t think gbursine minds if you ask these questions within an already existing thread (although you should read through old threads first before asking questions) but to start a new thread on stuff that has been asked and answered so many times can seriously tick people off.
Anyways, gbursine, do you play storm strider doom ? Do you think it would be best to start storm on point and build meter/RTSD or start strider and play until he gets low on life and has dealt damage then DHC into storm for runaway or RTSD’ing ?
Although I haven’t refined it, I play cyke/strider/doom every now and then.
Any top tier w/ s/d works well imo…
Whether or not you put storm or sent first is determined on your style of play, and your adeptness w/ each character. Because my strider’s weaker, I normally have some other character lead off to build meter and do damage. my strider normally cleans up, but like I said… thats my style of play. I think it also works conversely, with storm cleaning up, should strider die.

i think storm would be the better choice. the ability to throw hp’s and LA’s all day w/ doom aa is a mean builder. and the cross-up abbility is crazy. strider has a very good clean-up. espically if u use HS’s to punish there aa. and nothing can be done to strider once storm dies!

im pretty sure its possible… but extremly hard. with storm you must sj lk lk ad d lk lk but you have to keep the stick in neutral position. not worth the effort. but eh.
